I don't know how true, but word on the Ridge is no Pike County school is playing Friday. According to the rules, those games will be forfeits. Looks like East Ridge will wait until 2022 to see if they can go 3-0.

I'm pretty sure the games can still be played in pike county... I haven't heard anything different

East Ridge, Elkhorn  City? Never heard it before. Elkhorn, Feds Creek, Millard combined, 3 rival basketball schools. Elkhorn was the only one with football, but know this isn't Elkhorn in different colors, it's ER who could go 3-0 first time in school history.

I disagree with you. several years ago a younger coach (i don't remember his name) invited alum up with coach mccoy and did a big presentation on the history of football in our area. most kids in the program don't know we had two state championship appearances, even winning once of them! before his death, jack hall himself said he is glad to see tradition continue at the school when they honored the 64 championship team. It is important to reflect on our history.
