Politicians obviously do not care what happens to these children as there are elections to win.

Excerpts from the article:

Florida had 32 pediatric COVID-19 hospitalizations per day between July 24 and 30, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Adjusted for population, that’s 0.76 kids hospitalized per 100,000 residents, the highest rate in the country.

Dr. Claudia Espinosa, pediatric infectious disease specialist at the University of South Florida, said that she is deeply concerned about cases spiking when kids return to school this month. Hundreds of thousands of kids across the state will soon pack themselves into school buses, classrooms, and cafeterias.

“I’m terrified of what’s going to happen,” she said.

LOL. I'm terrified I might have to go the doctor one day and get a clueless lying bozo like Espinosa.

Just because she has a belief that is different from yours doesn't require middle school type name calling, it appears that your Leader has rubbed off on you.   It's definitely not very Christian like behavior.
I do not recall you making any objections to the many atheist rants that Old School Hound has posted. I have interpreted your silence to be tacit approval of those rants. And now you are lecturing a Christian, which solidifies my assumptions about you, Outsider. If you are a Christian, Hindu, Buddist, or adherent to any religion, then you should not remain silent when he/she/it insists that there is no God.

As for your deep concern about COVID-19 victims, where was your concern when the Democrat governors of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania forced the elderly infected with the virus back into nursing homes with healthy retirees? You are a hypocrite, Outsider, maybe the worst one among the four BGR socialists - but the competition for that crown is intense.
Quooter I believe the overwhelming majority of the deaths in NY, NJ, and Pennsylvania was when the Nasty Trump Flu came into this country. We have learned a lot about this Nasty Trump Flu since then at least some have. Do you like how I used your Leader's name instead of your King ?

Actually, with today's Trump Christians, it's VERY Christian-like behavior. It's what they do when all they have is baseless claims---just attack people with nasty name-calling and pointing out typos and misspellngs. The only positive thing that Trump did is expose Christians for the dreadful hypocrites they are.

It's too bad that there is no fiery hell because that would be a nice permanent home for Franklin Graham and all of those like him.

I hope that President Trump decides not to run in 2024. Governor DeSantis would make an outstanding candidate. He is a retired Navy JAG lawyer who has demonstrated great leadership skills and would take office at the age of 43. I am convinced that Trump was the rightful winner of the 2020 election but a man who would take the Oath of Office at the age of 78 should be supporting younger candidates who share his vision for the future, not running himself. Ron DeSantis is the Socialists' worst nightmare.

Despite having one of the oldest populations in the country, Florida ranks 24th in COVID-19 fatalities. Nearly all of the nation's states with the worst records of managing the pandemic are blue. And yes, I do recall you and the other Marxist-atheists touting what a swell job Cuomo was doing managing the pandemic in New York.

Meanwhile, the pedophile for whom you voted for president has actively destroyed security along our southern border to allow hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens into this country and then dispersed them throughout the country - with absolutely no concern about spreading new COVID-19 variants throughout the states.

DeSantis is showing what real leadership is by standing up to the crooked tyrant in the White House.

Gov Hutchinson has come to his senses and decided it was best not to play politics with the lives of innocent children, unlike some others.

Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas said he regrets signing an April law banning mask mandates and is seeking to reverse it as coronavirus infections soar among unvaccinated youth, making him an outlier among some Republican governors who have doubled down on their anti-masking views.

COVID-19 deaths have been higher in blue states like New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island - where there were no shortages of mask mandates and business lockdowns. Florida has focused on parts of its population most at risk of severe infections and death. If you want the government to compel everybody to wear masks, then try selling that to your fellow Kentuckians. Florida is attracting freedom-loving Americans.

If you really feel strongly that the government should force everybody to wear masks and close businesses for no good reason, then please consider moving to a state ruled by a tyrannical governor such as New York. The state has lost many taxpayers to states such as Florida.

If you believe that masks are effective, then wear one. Better yet, wear two.

The pandemic hit all states along the coasts and those with large international airports, including Florida. As one of the nation's biggest tourist destinations, Florida's early numbers were inflated by visitors from other states. Compared to NY, NJ, and PA, Florida has done an amazing job in limiting fatalities among retirees living in nursing homes and retirement communities. Cuomo should be on trial for negligent homicide but instead, he will be impeached for sexual harassment. Remember how you Marxist-atheists defended Cuomo's handling of the pandemic? Still throwing the big lies out there, vector. Florida is not an island near Antarctica. It is a well-populated, thriving state with strong commercial ties to the other 49 states. Florida is not 18 months behind New York in the pandemic life cycle. Your claim is without merit and repeating it ad nauseam diminishes your credibility if that is even possible. Cuomo and other New York politicians did a dismal job managing the pandemic, as did most other blue states. New York should be impeaching Cuomo for sentencing so many elderly nursing home residents to early deaths.
