Can remember when this was a big deal with big crowds at Freedom Hall and Market Square Arena. Now it's maybe 1/3 full at the Owensboro Sports Center and the Indiana game is played at an Indianapolis high school. Back in the day, it was unique to see the kids come together from around the state and play against other high level competition. Now, it's commonplace for these things to happen with the summer ball circuit. Not sure if it's still a money maker for the Lions' Club charities, but wonder if it's time to leave this tradition in the past?

This should have been scrapped 10 years ago. It's useless and too many politics involved anyways.

How exactly are politics involved?
