Somerset wins, to much returning talent and could be headed for another appearance in the state championship. Sorry PJDoug but think Whitley County takes a loss in this one.

This should be Whitley County best team in the last 6 or 7 years. I look for Whitley to give Somerset all they can handle for 2 1/2 quarter and then lights out.

Losing their QB, DC, RB, best WR, and best DL/OL is going to hurt whitley this season. Irwin will have them straightened out by end of season but this is a tough one to open with.

I agree. Whitley has some talent but it's young.

Somerset is too much for Whitley County this year. Interested to see how Irwin does this season. Who did he get to replace Mouser and Mills on the coaching staff?

The most recent team they had was no joke was the 2016-2017 team, they was deep they went 9-3 that year and swept the district ?
