David Rowe from Pike Central and Pikeville College. I saw Coach Rowe play in high school. In 1976 his 14 points in region finals helped his team to the win. On January 6,1980 his baseline jumper with 25 seconds send game to OT. His 18 points led Pikeville College to a win. Many trips to region finals leading his high school. I was at the 94 and watched this game. Danny Adams scored 28 points on January 30, 1970 for Pikeville College. Neil West scored 12 points on January 30,1986. Coach West took a girls program in Salyersville that was a coal bucket full of ashes and turned the girls team into mine that employs 300. On february 8,1990 Claire Fuller from Feds Creek scored 46 points on 13 3-pointers made. Samantha Cook totaled 22 points. On February 8, 2020 Alyssa Elswick scored 15 points. Rick Bentley, Jason Blanton, Ed Taylor were all good to me. I set in Randy McCoy office before his home games and we would talk. He give me a program form Beach Classic they played in. I visited with Rodney Rowe mother at Allen Central gym and had a nice talk. My first trip to the Prestonsburg gym we played with wide seam Wilson with the commisioners name on the ball. The goals at this gym similar to NBA arena. Coach Johnny Ray Turner made me a vcr tape from the 89 season with 2 games and the 89 district win.
