If Knott County had shot it like that against Wolfe County the other night it would have been a different game.
Against Wolfe they were

Tonight against Owsley
11-20 from ft line

Wolfe’s Smith scored as many the other night against Knott County as Owsley team did tonight.
People get on here and act like Wolfe wasn’t very good.
If Knott has showed up with that game they played tonight on Monday night they would have never been playing tonight.
But that’s why they are the 3 time defending champion. They play as good as they need to, to beat the team they are playing that night.

Owsley gave up too many layups with that press and offense was sluggish, but what a fantastic season for the Owls. All the starters come back next year so hopefully they can make it farther next year. Good luck to KCC against LCC.

For the most part this post season, the teams that have one dominant scorer have lost. The teams that are balanced have won. I have seen several instances of teams passing on open shots waiting to get the ball to one player, and the opposing defenses were never stretched.
