Wow. Didn't see this coming right before district . Could OBI be turning into a usual OBI team and suspect nothing more. I've been keeping up with them through out the thread talking when they are any and following them through khsaa and stats and they have not made much approvement from Dec.1st till Feb 20th still the same old OBI team in the past. Looks like they might be one and done in district and no need in even thinking region because it's not happening this yr .

My uncle was at the game and he said woods didn’t play, I heard Estep only played for a few mins and then got benched with a ice pack on his leg. Don’t know his name but another player who was playing really well got benched the second half. Hall didn’t play his best game. It was almost like they didn’t care this game meant getting the 3 seed. He also said they played with no urgency in the 4th. My opinion is the same though I’m a clay fan and I am not happy of the outcome. I would have rather played Jackson than OBI in the district. Is woods out for the season?

Woods estep didnât play and Onouha played very limited do to injury. Improvement they beat Middlesboro and Lynn camp at Lynn camp last week. I promise Glenn would have preferred to clay Jackson rather than Clay. Woods will be back Thursday and estep today.

Not being disrespectful Big mouth. But it seems Everytime OBI takes a fall back and loses a game that they should have won it's always this player and that player didn't get to play. Or somebody is sick or injured. GUESS what every team plays through the same battles and difficult through out a season and the point is OBI is not no different than they was Dec 1st and they be lucky to even make it to play Clay. So if your saying or let me redirect my self that OBI through the game for a better play at clay than North then it's not going to happen. OBI want even come close to beating Clay and if u ain't careful they want even see Clay in district. Don't count your chickens before they hatch u ain't beat red bird yet and seems u might have given them some belief n air that they can play with OBI. But my hole point is your always blowing OBI up all yr long how their going to be top 5 but in the real world they are still between 17 to 13 tops in the region. Sorry but that's how it is. If they win u are praising them and if they lose you are continuing excuses after excuses and it's always somebody didn't get to play or somebody is sick. Well it's varsity basketball it's time to play sick or injured. U didn't see Matt crommer sitting and Jeff Davis making excuses when crommer was out injured or sick You don't see Clay whinning n excuses Robinson had been out the last 4 games. But guess what they still get the job done. Quit making excuses and just except OBI is not top ten yet. Still some building to do and coaching staff getting more experience issues worked out and then we can talk. Don't get mad just look at reality.

Nice win for the Cardinals! Looks like the Napier kid is back healthy. OBI will be fine.The district will come down between North vs Clay, I donât see how this is a surprise to anyone.

I thought they would be better than what they are.
Also I believe either team Oneida played north or clay was going to be an up hill battle. I donât think they can beat either.
But itâs not excuses when kids canât play because of dr. I guess the coach should play them when dr says they need to sit.

Don't know anything about what happened at the Oneida & Red Bird game but agree 100% on why it's such a big deal that Red Bird beat Oneida. Anyone with common sense know's that it's North and Clay going to region. Oneida, Red Bird, and Jackson Co. Aren't even in the same league as the other 2 teams. Clay and North will be a great championship district game to watch. Without Robinson back playing I will say IMO Clay will be hurting bad in Region. Not downing the other 3 teams because in my opinion they all 3 have some beasts playing on those teams. Sad to see such good player's on these team's not getting much recognition also. I do think the new coach at Oneida can do big things in the near future with that basketball program.

Red Bird is not beating Oneida in the district again. They literally played without 3 to 4 of their top 6 players for a majority of the game. IMO Oneida could care less which team they play. Im not happy with the outcome last night all pressure will be on Clay. 3 years in a row not going to the arena will be enough pressure to cause clay to play bad. And now they have to play a Oneida team who has proven on any given night can beat anyone but also lose to anyone. Clay is hands down the best team but Oneida is scary.

I agree, I'm figuring that's why Clay's Robinson isn't playing is because a Dr. say's he can't. Makes pretty good sense to me.

Night R the rumor I'm being told is Connor Robinson will play in region if Clay makes it to region. They ain't going to push for him to play in district that he has tare or something pulled in his ankle and the proper cure is rest and not using it more than he has to if he doesn't it could cause a career ending injury if it's not healed completely. But u hear everything in the world but I've not got to speak with any one that is close to the Robinson. But I figured there some truth to it by Connor sitting out as long as he has.

I'm not bad mouthing OBI or the coach for one single game. I was just stating a fact to big mouth if u go back on most threads the times OBI loses he's always saying this or that kid was not able to play or some kind of a excuse. Yes I agree if a doctor rules a kid to not play then he shouldn't play but just because he takes it up on his self because he's got a belly ache or a finger or toe hurting it's varsity basketball and it's March time. It's time for the men to separate from the boys and step up to the plate and take it head on and give all heart and desire to advance to your length that u can go.

NLFAN that's what I've also heard as well, he's been out an awful long time for just an ankle sprain. Jaytiger sounds right on him not playing if it could cause career ending injury. He's Clay's best player IMO and without him Clay could be hurting in district and region if they make it. He's one heck of a ballplayer and hate to see him hurt. He's got another year left and I can see him being in the running for Mr. Basketball next year. Clay could be in some big time trouble without him on the court. Seems like an awful lot of injuries here at the end if the year from alot of these threads.

I hate it for any kid that is hurt. Is stinks that all teams want be at full strength. I guess itâs nature of beast. I wish Robinson the best of luck and a speedy recovery. Heâs as good as anyone in region.

I know you are smarter than that JayTiger lol if it was that bad he would have a boot or something on his foot. Probably won't need him in district except for the championship
game agaisnt North Laurel then he will also be playing the regional tournament. Come on now ole JayTiger hahahaha

Night R u must never read my hole thread. I said I heard but I've not heard nothing from anyone that is close to the Robinson family. But that is the tell that's being told and if there nothing to it then I guess Glenn has sacrifice losing to let Robinson rest. But anyways Night R one second u are agreeing with me n then two threads later u are criticism me for my thread. Now Night R come on u r like a marry go around n around n around. It's post season it's the to buckle down n go play ball. Let's go 49th district let's go take it all who ever it shall be. I'm for all 49th teams n I do believe it will be a 49th team cutting the nets down this yr at the arena. Just my opinion. I think the 49th will also be one of the most interesting district's played in the 13th region this yr. It could go either way two dominating teams in championship or it could turn out upset of century. That's why it's post season....love it👏👏🙌
