Did have 1 Question with this one. Does KHSAA officials monitor the coaching box or area whenever they choose to and theyâre just not consistent or is it rare that they ever say anything to a coach on the floor during a game? Iâve witnessed teams get a side line warning for a coach having one foot in the playing area before. Then Iâve seen a coach 8ft inside the side line and standing on the half court line during play with not even a word mentioned . Does it just depend where you are, who you are or who the officials are at the time? Wasnât sure on the rule in Highschool.

It all depends on the Refs calling the game how they deal with the coaches. I've seen Al Holland all over the floor and not a word said, then some coaches will get a warning. It seems the Refs don't want the assistant coaches up or running the side lines. I think it's more about how the coaches are acting or what they are saying rather than where they are standing.
