Another 54th district showdown! Perry got the W when these teams met 1st in early December. That was before the 14th region Defensive Player of the year (IMO) came back for the eagles Trent Asher.. I think he will get all up in reed and give perry problems from start to finish. Too much speed!

The way chatter has been going on here Leslie may be the dark horse for regional champ. I have not seen them play but if they can get Hazard in the district they could be on their way. Beating Perry would be a statement we shall see. Perry does not have a good record but they have been tough in the region the only regional team to beat the Bulldogs and at Hazard. They have split with Dawgs losing at home on a last second shot. So if Leslie could beat them Tomorrow may make believers out of some of the skeptics on here.

They should have a good crowd Heard thru the grapevine Hazard will have coaches over there scouting both teams. Would be surprised if Buckhorn didn’t also.

Perry is playing really good basketball right now. They got off to a rough start, but They seem to be peaking at just the right time. They have a win over Hazard, and they won against North Laurel..who just embarrassed Knott. I wouldn’t want to draw Perry first round of the region. I’m predicting a Perry win, by 10.
