Hope it isn’t true, but heard he broke his collar bone riding a dirt bike. I saw some pictures and it looked bad, so unless they were faking it and it was some kind of bad joke, then he’s out.

Tough break for McGuire and huge loss to the Patriots ball club. He was a key component on both ends of the floor. A difference maker type player. Just his presence on the floor causes adjustments for the opposing team, not to mention his ability to score on anybody one on one and rebound extremely well. Hate this for the kid. Tough loss for a Patriot team who had already lost a starting guard to Hazard. How do the Patriots adjust and make a run at the region? Can they win district? I know they have a talented freshman class, but can they fill the huge gap left by McGuire’s absence? Be interesting to see what adjustments BB King & Company make. Wish a full and speedy recovery for the big guy! I don’t know him personally, but heard he is a good kid, good attitude off the floor.

They have Napier, Damron, Sheppard all 3 are juniors and then Williams is a senior, the rest of the team are all freshman, so with McGuire out, they will start a freshman and everyone off bench will be freshman, they have had 4 kids quit this season and McGuire is out, and they are in the toughest part of their schedule now, gonna be tough to find many wins. But we will see..

Dang! 4 kids quit? I knew Higgins left and went to Hazard, who else have they lost? What’s the deal with everyone quitting? Don’t they play Hazard this week?

Kesean higggins - quit
Jonte Clayton - quit
Kyle hosfess- quit

Granted they won’t miss a couple of those kids, because they never played much, but still that makes the whole bench freshmen now. And yes, at hazard Tuesday night.

Hofsess gave them size inside. He will be missed since Josh is out.

Yes. They could definitely use hosfess now. Which he was getting minutes before he quit also, still not sure why he left the team.

Region at KCC this year, right? Makes McGuire’s injury even more sad for that kid. Miss a regional tournament that’s played at your HS. That sucks. Praying for the young man. As far as Hofsess, didn’t know he had quit. I’d definitely be trying to find out what the situation was and try and get that boy back. He tough. Foul prone, but definitely could use him. The hole left by McGuire isn’t gonna be easy to fill. From games I saw, he would be doubled and triple teamed at times giving his teammates open looks. Without that threat, defense can focus on shooters more and spread out. Gonna be interesting to see what adjustments are made. Get Hofsess kid back.

Reason why a lot of players that quit n come up from feeder system that don’t want to play for KCC. Their are a few players that go to KCC that don’t play that would help KCC.
