It's magic alright. Holding, clipping, pass interference, offsides, roughing the passer, all appear out of nowhere like magic when the Tomcats need a break.

That's a pretty good list but you omitted the occasional missed field goal where the football actually appears in videos to pass between the uprights. Putnam magic is a dark art.
