I don’t think it’s as bad as last time but I still think Pikeville wins by at least 2-3 TDs

I’m going with my Panthers. I agree I don’t think it will be as bad as first game between the two though.

So you’re calling 42-6? Call your shot, young man! I like it. Lol

I see what you did there and I'm all for cautionary tales. Having said that I will go with 2015.

COULD be a trap game. Hazard isn’t going to roll over and die. They played scared in the first meeting, I expect more of a fight this time and history supports it. 28-14 in a closer one. Go Panthers!

Pikeville wins by a lot

I can see Pikeville getting caught looking past this one! Hate to see the Panthers season end but hey, they’ve had a Great season!

I don’t see a Coach Mac coaches teamed getting caught looking past Hazard. These two teams have played each other far too many times in the post season to know that the regular season matchup means diddly.

But anything can happen in the post season I just can’t see it.

I agree with many Hazard should play better this time. I also expect to see Fletcher get more carries than just 1. For Hazard to win this one they are going to have to put together long methodical drives and finish with points on the board eating the clock up. So basically keeping the Pikeville offense on the sideline. I would love to be in attendance for this one but won’t be able to make it this time. Anyone know if this will have a live video feed/ or Wymt Game of the Week.

Hazard has 1 offensive TD after Oct 1 vs teams not named Phelps.
1 vs Somerset, none vs Pikeville or Whitley Co. They are not going to score many points on Pikeville, if any. For Hazard to win they will have to play the defensive game of their lives and get some turnovers as well. JMO.

They haven’t because of turnovers. They played fairly good against Somerset. If not for the muffed punt they may of won they game. Pikeville they was just dominated. Whitley County game I’m not sure but turnovers and mental errors I’m assuming from listening to on the radio.

But this game this time will be different. Fletcher got several carries in the Danville game and Paintsville game and several in the Somerset game. Hazard may not win it but, I believe it will be closer ( in my opinion).
Fletcher has had 5 carries since the Pikeville game. He has close to 70 on the season. I expect to see him get 10+ carries this game. Trajon Campbell will have 10+ and mix a few more kids back there. This is my opinion on the game. But hope for a good game.

Hazard will hang in there this go around as one of better coached teams in area. Look for panthers to survive a 21-14 score and be happy to move to next round.

I watched the Whitley County and Hazard game and they Really didn’t get any offense going that night either but got to give credit to Whitley their defense played well. Now I do believe Pikeville will see a lot more of Fletcher this time and do believe it will be a better game. For one Hazard can’t give the ball up on turnovers and put themselves in a whole in bad plays but Pikeville’s defense is (in my opinion is better than Whitley’s). I do believe they are going to have to have long time consuming drives to keep Pikeville’s offense off the field. I don’t believe Pikeville is overlooking Hazard because they have their goals set for their self's and district champs is one of them. As always GO PANTHERS!!!

I'm new to this forum and it will probably take a while to get used to things. I support all mountain football, and have played the game myself. Wish all mountain teams out there good luck in the playoffs, and for injury free games. Proud to say I am a Pikeville fan and wishing them good luck against Hazard. I do believe this game will be a little closer than the last one. Imo, Panthers win though.

Pikeville - 48
Hazard- 14

Since my boy graduated, it’s been hard for me to stay on this board, but I keep having withdrawals and coming back. Mac won’t let them look past Hazard. I can tell you for a fact that Mac and staff are SOLELY focused on this game, as are the players. Each week the teams are 0-0 when the game starts.

Lol ! To say that, you don't know anything about Coach Mac, or the coaching staff, or the Panther team. Anyone close to this program whether it be a fan, Coach, or whoever knows Coach Mac will not look past the opponent that is in front of him. That being said;

PIKEVILLE - 42
HAZARD - 20

I think it will be in that scoring margin. No disrespect to Hazard, but they just don't have the horses to keep up with our boys this year.

Need someone from Hazard or Pikeville to come on the podcast for this one. Any takers? It’s a very easy process

I remember that game like it was yesterday. I’m sure Coach Mac wouldn’t call a halfback pass on 4th and goal from the 2 with a 2 point lead and under 2 minutes to go in the game....That one still baffles me....

I hope it's a great game between the 2 most consistent 1A teams in the east, but I think Pikeville is too much this year!

Panthers by 3 TDs

Hazard - 21

Could think be Dixon last game as the bulldogs coach? That’s what I’m hearing. Pikeville 38 hazard 12
