I look for this game to be closer than the first. The key for Middlesboro will be to have long, clock eating drives. Jabari Kyle looked good in the game last night against Leslie County. The Middlesboro defense has to tighten up. They looked good the first half, but gave up too much the second half. With that said:

Middlesboro only beat Leslie by one earlier I the year and running clock last night. I agree Breathitt will win but closer this time. Unbelievable what Coach French has done with Middlesboro this year. I watched them in grid and did not think they would win a game. I watched them last night and couldn’t believe it. Breathitt has had a great year too. Middlesboro reminds me of Breathitt last year. Just not over the hump but great improvement.

Their schedule is a result of reclassifying .and years of mediocrity. I do not think they would be as good as they are but they got some really impactful players in the off season.

District is district and if all the teams are down it is what it is. LCA and Somerset are on the opposite end of the spectrum, thank goodness Danville is in a rebuilding year...could you imagine if all 3 teams were kicking on all cylinders? Additionally, Washington Co is not a push over.

Depends on the recruiting classes they get... Without Collins, Long, Weddle... Their schedule is good for them... Guess they just didn't expect to get such a good haul...
