Cov cath is proving to have the best win.....by faaaaaaaaaar. It’s amazing how things look when all emotion and allegiance are taken out of the equation.

By the way, lasalle just beat Cincinnati elder last night.

The only comparison is like opponents.

And Boyle Co FAAAAAAAAARRR out performed CovCath vs LexCath and Highlands. No logical person could deny that.

You might not like that fact but it doesn't change it.

Their win over a powerhouse team is very impressive to say the least. But close wins over lex cath and highlands lead me to believe they still shouldn’t be ranked over Male. If it were just one game, I’d maybe think it was just a fluke game, but playing two games like that make me question them a little more. They’re still a great team.

Of course and no one is suggesting otherwise. What’s your point? You ranked Covington Catholic like fifth in the state. That’s really really interesting considering they have the best win. Calpreps obviously disagrees with you. I’ll take their word for it.

IMO, you are #5.

Good luck the rest of the way.

I am not on the Cov cath team and regardless of what you think, you don’t play for Boyle.

God Bless

Male should be a clear #1. Beating Trinity is enough to place them there, in my book. Trinity is a solid #2. They probably have the 2nd, 3rd and 4th best wins and losses against nationally ranked powers. I think Boyle at #3 is fair. I like Johnson Central at #4 and F. Douglass at #5, Cov Catholic at 6, N.Hardin at 7, Manual at 8, St X at 9, Franklin Co at 10.
#13
IMO Male and Boyle are the 2 top teams in the state, they are on a different level
#14
Makes me laugh out loud that Pikeville is on this list hahah

Trinity beats multiple out-of-state powerhouses and only loses to Male by 3 points after 2 overtimes and yet Male is on a different level?

Valid point. People let trinity’s record fool them. They would still beat 99.9% of everyone in Kentucky 6 ways to Sunday. Male, then trinity on a level of their own. Then Cov cath/Boyle co. I’m still not sure who I’d put ahead of which. Cov cath has close games vs two like opponents of Boyle. But then they went on to beat a national powerhouse??? I don’t like using the “like opponents” comparing. Too many variables. And most of the time, the answer concluded from it is wrong. I’d say that game would be 50/50 if they were to play with no clear favorite until they did. But as it sits right now, Cov does has the better resume, but there is no way I’d bet on them to beat Boyle.
#17
Is CovCath's W over #106 LaSalles better than St. X's 5 point loss to #46 St. X?
#18
RAMDAD50 Wrote:Makes me laugh out loud that Pikeville is on this list hahah

Maybe, but you're crying on the inside.
Go 10-0 and beat 7 highly rated teams along the way, 4 of which are much bigger schools, and then maybe you can get on this list RD.
