3A #1 DeSales 39 3A #9 Mercer County 23
#1
Sloppy game. A tale of two halves. Colts come from behind to dominate the second half.
#2
Mercer must be pretty good. I didn’t expect this kind of game.
#3
I didn't think Mercer County could hang this close.
#4
Good job colts.
#5
Mercer had the lead and their chances. Congrats Desales.
#6
DeSales had two punts blocked in the first half plus a fumble in Mercer territory. Three bad snaps led to both punt blocks and a block on a extra point. From my understanding our regular long snapper was hurt in practice this week and didn't play. DeSales played as bad as a first half that I have seen. Down 17-12. Colts came out in the second half and took care of business. Defense really dominated and overwhelmed Mercer, and the offense ran the ball down their throat for the win.

It’s a good thing. If they didn’t take care of business, I would have been eating crow again.

Maybe Desales isn’t that good. Could go either way.

Maybe not. We'll see.

Why? They beat CAL who just went to overtime with DeSales

I think 3A is wide open. Imo anyone can win It all.

Are you excited about the big clash against Yellow Creek School Center next Friday? I know Bell had an easy time with Lone Jack School Center and Page School Center, but I hear Yellow Creek has a kid that can almost reach the middle shelf of a kitchen cabinet.

Congrats to DeSales.

I'm excited to watch them take you behind the woodshed .

I realize that median grammatical constructs often whither you, but surely even you are capable of comprehending that a period connects with its clause, correct?

Did you realize what an idiot you look like by typing this load of BS? When you grow up you'll stop acting like a little girl.

b.s., which requires two periods (wow, those truly do confound you), as in, bovine fecal matter, is lower-case.

B.S., again, with the periods, denotes Bachelor of Science; it is a designation one achieves after... well, if you remain constrained by the full stop, one probably does not need to bother with any discussions beyond introductory primary school.

As for "little girl" denoting as slander. I happen to have a "little girl"; she is an E-7, Gunnery Sergeant, GySgt, stationed at OCS, Quantico. Perhaps, since a Bell-DeSales matchup, will be around Thanksgiving, I will ask her to join me in rock chain heaven, and you could happily further your discourse on "little girls" to her.

No need in arguing with some people. They just don’t get it and then get mad.

Maybe. Bell County would finish fourth in our district.
#23
That RPI isn't a given for Bell County anymore. we made up a lot of ground this week. Only 3 points separate us. We have a 6A school this week. It would be a shame if we overtake you and you guys would have to come here to play us.

I know. You and your buddy above should play hopscotch together.

You’re playing a 6A team with a 3-6 record. We are playing a 4A team ranked in state.

Congrats Colts

I think it's irrelevant anyway. From my understanding you guys will have to beat Belfry to even have a shot at playing us. It's not really fair that Belfry will get all the fun
We have our own worries. we don't get to actually play in a weak district.
#29
Some of you teams in 3A better be ready to play Desales. They are extremely good up front on both sides of the ball. They don't do anything fancy on offence but they are really good running between the tackles.

Mercer was up 17-12 at halftime and 23-20 with 9 minutes left. Desales took the lead 27-23 with 5 minutes left in the game. It would have been nice for Mercer to put a drive together when they had the ball down 27-23 with 5 minutes left but they couldn't get it going offensively. The final score doesn't reflect how close this game was. Desales deserves a ton of credit as they are a really solid team.
