Two things about our win tonight. I want to say how much I appreciate our coaching staff. On offense They doubled and tripled Dearinger, only ran the middle when the 2 big boys where out, and utilized the passing game to perfection. Defensively they loaded the box and forced them to pass. Sometimes as fans we don’t appreciate how great our coaching staff is. Brilliant. The second thing is how proud I am of our kids. As I was leaving the game I saw one of our starting offensive linemen walk right through the Anderson team by their field house. He found Dearinger and told him he played a great game and he was the best end he had ever played against. Then I see another starting linebacker tell Labhart how great a game he played. The sportsmanship and integrity it takes after an easy win like that to acknowledge other great players is truly special. I have never been more proud to be a Rebel. These are special times and a special group of young men.

Boyle def has a class act and first rate collection of coaches. Even down on the middle school level I loved talking to them. I can’t comment much about the players as I only know a few but if they are anything like the kids I do know, they’ve got to be good kids on and OFF the field. That’s a testament to not only the coaches but parents as well.
