I was just thinking the same thing. How could you possibly talk about a team refusing to play you knowing you have two teams in your own county that you refuse to play. Somerset will never play SW now as long as Coach Foley is at the helm. Roll Warriors. :rockon:

That's false. If you remember, and it was in the Commonwealth Journal, the Somerset Superintendent offered to buy out the contract of any team on their schedule and pay to buy out the contract of any team on the country team's schedule to set up a game this season but was turned down.

Foley called Haddix the coach at Corbin and told him that he would not come to Corbin and play 7 on 7 if Somerset was going to be there also.
Somerset and PC had a game scheduled and Hines called and said the superintendent said if he played Somerset he was going to fire him

Yeah this is false. Southwestern was scheduled to be at Corbin for 7on7. Southwestern was called and asked if they would be willing to come another day because Somerset would be there and somerset didn’t want to scrimmage with SW there.
