We actually have a couple members voting them #1.

Bell is good. We won't know how good to November. They need to play Breathitt in the Anonymous Bowl so we can get to see where these two stand.
#7
CAL should be higher after this past week.
#8
Why would CAL be higher than Mercer County? I thought they played on CAL's field.
#9
Good question. I think CAL should be ranked higher in these polls after their play against DeSales. However, after beating CAL, Mercer should also be higher.
#10
Mercer just keeps going under the radar. Beats CAL and is three or four spots behind them.
#11
Belfry is going to win the 3A title.

They got the most DUDES.
#12
I would love to hear the rationale behind these rankings not just for Mercer but for about 4-5 of these teams. BGP has it pretty accurate for 3A.
#13
1. DeSales
2. Belfry
3. CAL (Full Strength)
4. Ashland
5. Mercer
6. Bell
7. Russell
8. Elizabethtown
9. Bardstown
10. Paducah Tilghman

CAL full strength? Who has been out other than Braeden Babin?

Not sure the rest of them, but their announcer said they had 5 guys back that had been out due to injuries, and that they were finally at full strength.

Ok could be lineman or defensive players or somebody that doesn't show up on the stats. They have had all their skill guys atleast since they played Mercer and possibly even the Boyle game. I can tell they only played one game with any players missing that I can tell and that was against Ballard.

3A is wide open. There are several teams that could win the whole thing. Injuries are gonna play a factor no doubt. Personally, as the season continues to develop.....I'm seeing 5-8 teams with a legitimate shot.

Mercer 90 yards Passing and 420 yards rushing with total of 510 yards
Cal 289 yards Passing and 122 rushing yards with total of 411 yards.

Cal 111 passing yards and 188 rushing yards with total of 299 yards.

I'm not sure Tilghman even belongs in the Top 10. PT just has such a rich history of laying eggs - of just not showing up at all - in games where they should be competitive and it has happened over and over in the last 10-12 years. In many decades of watching and playing and some coaching, I do not believe I have ever seen an offensive line dominated the way that DeSales whipped Tilghman. The film should be shown at clinics.

One thing that high level defenses do that set them apart is block destruction on a different level. Many fans and some coaches have no idea what they are witnessing. Its not just great talent, its block destruction and not staying blocked. Most HS offensive lines are still working on WHO to block and how to get there and when they get a hat on you most defensive kids stay blocked. Ty Scroggins is at Desales so I am not surprised they preach block destruction on a different level than most.

Scroggins is a defensive mastermind
#22
A Scroggins defense constituted outside the constraints of public school district boundaries is even more potent.

Apparently you don't know anything about Desales or how football works in the Jefferson county system.

Well said. That's why I never bet against the man on Log Mountain.
#28
Everyone has an opinion and yes injuries happen. We need to stop making excuses on why teams are not ranked higher. 64: yes teams are young, not any younger than anyone else. 😂

Since this posting is related to Ty Scroggins, and he is 4-0 against the little, tiny man on Log Mountain, should Bell meet DeSales, how much would you like to wager on that contest?

Here is my initial offer:

DeSales wins, you never post on here again.

Bell County wins, I will send you an official check for five-hundred dollars.
