I am a Middlesboro fan but am going to have to take the Pineville Mountain Lions in this one. French has done a unbelievable job but The kid that transferred from Bell County will be the difference. Middlesboro will never stop him.

This is a great matchup between Colby Frazier and Jabari Kyle. I’m giving the slight advantage to Pineville who has some solid players this year and a good coach. But Colby Frazier is the gamechanger. He has been a man among boys against these smaller schools. I think he will have a huge game and Pineville wins by a touchdown.

I still can’t figure out how Jackets beat Garrard. They have not lost and will be runner up and will play Bell for district championship. I know Bell’s district is weak weak but I bet Middlesboro would loose to them if they played Garrard again.

Neither team has beaten a tough opponent, but Pineville has more playmakers. Frazier can break for a big gain at any time. Jabari has really developed into an awesome player. Looks like both teams will load the box. Not too many passing yards, but maybe haven’t had to. Not sure just going by khsaa stats, posts and friends. Pineville by 26-13.

Is this before Pineville gets there? I watched some of their games on YouTube and Facebook live. Jabari over Frazier or Morris. I saw the competition wasn’t much, but I saw the Frazier kid at Bell last year and the Morris kid is very explosive. Both can make plays when they touch the ball. Capps kid is also a playmaker. Jabari has gotten better, but he is nothing like that Pineville duo. Take Jabari cause I’m sure Pineville will be happy with their team.

Garrard County is proving to be a good win for Middlesboro. Pineville lacks that quality of win though.

Pineville fan said in a newspaper French said Pineville defense was decent. WOW!! Sounds like a little locker room material. As if more was needed. Middlesboro got rid of Frazier and the program was in good shape. Downhill since then. Pineville by two td’s. I hope the Bell and Whitley game is as exciting.

This is another game that is a toss up in my opinion. Both teams have played better than expected this year, with Middlesboro having played the harder schedule. The Yellow Jackets are improved this year, but the question is, how much? With the game being played at Middlesboro, I would think they would have the edge. I look for a very competitive game, with Middlesboro scoring late to put Pineville away. Middlesboro wins 35-28.

I saw stuff on French many years ago in his coaching career. Great coach, Frazier is also. Not the same accolades and they are not on the field. Officials and Pineville not showing up would be the only way Middlesboro wins. Can’t wait for the other games down 25E and I75. Should be a great night of football 🏈
