Looks good to me, for now. 😂

Top 3 are the only real contenders IMO. Also, I learned a long time ago not to bet against belfry. Especially since Cal has lost some key players. I use to hate belfry, then stepped back and realized it was because of one person who is no longer here. Now days, I’m pulling for them. Not to even mention i can’t stand Louisville!! Go pirates!!

Here is where I have an issue. First, I think CAL is below Belfry. Second, if CAL is #1 than this is where the logic is lacking. Mayfield played CAL to a 1 touchdown game at state. CAL lost a ton and a coach. Mayfield did not. It would stand to reason that Mayfield should be better than CAL this year. So, we keep CAL at 1 but, we punish PT by knocking them to 10 for losing to a team that should be better than #1. Someone isn’t thinking things through.

* Tilghman is mediocre at best.

CAL has won 18 in a roll, someone needs to beat them before they lose the #1 spot. Confusedmoke:

They would have if they were in 3A last year. Last year's CAL team was better than anyone in the bottom 4 classes IMO. This year? I don't think they're the best in 3A, but we'll see.

Seriously? A lot of those wins have come against 6A schools. I'm not a CAL fan by any means, but i will give them the credit they are due. I don't think anyone can question who they have played.

I think you better come off that mountain. The air must be pretty thin up there. lol

After beating Mayfield I’d have to agree but if what I’m hearing is true and they’ve lost as much as I’ve heard....I’m not sure they’re gonna be ready for the Pirates....

I am not persuaded that in one of the top 3A enrollment schools in the state, and from a school that has a robust history of producing great kickers, the only place kicker that Tilghman can muster this year is a cameo by the new athletic director's daughter.

I guess it is what it is.

Move out Mercer, slide in Russell or Bardstown as you please, flip-flop CAL and Desales, and move Bell down to about 9.

Russell and Bardstown both may be better than Mercer and both could prove it by the end of the year. Right now though Russell and Bardstown are 2-1 and Mercer is 3-0. Bardstown has wins against Danville & Marion which are not good wins. Mercer scrimmaged Danville and I walked away from that scrimmage wondering if Danville would be significantly down since last year. Russell has wins against 1A Raceland and Mason. Mercer beat at top ten team in 4A and is undefeated. It's early in the season and things can change weekly though.

I agree wholeheartedly. 18 in a row deserves all kinds of respect. Until they lose, they're #1.

I do think people are underrating Russell. Interested too see Russell and Ashland once district play begins.

Bardstown is also deserving of a top 10 spot. While they are smallish all over field, they play fast and aggressive. love the way their LB's flow to the ball.

The thing with Russell is the not knowing what they can do outside there area of the state. Its a big unknown, and I think it hurts them in rankings a bit.

Very physical team, their loss is to a top Ohio division 5 team that can play with anyone in Kentucky 3a. Defense is very good having only gave up 1 td in 3 games if they get the offense clicking they have a chance to go real deep into the playoffs

Bell should be ahead of Ashland and Desales.

Who has Bell beaten that's as good as Butler? Because DeSales dominated Butler in a way that even South Warren didn't.

Maybe so. Hard to tell with that featherweight schedule that your team is playing. Certainly won't help you guys prepare when playoff time comes.
