Williamsburg gets same points for beating Jellico, one of the worst teams in the country, as Pikeville will get for beating Mingo Central and Ridgeview, two teams who would beat Jellico 100-0. And if Pikeville loses to either of those teams, big advantage to Williamsburg for beating a team Pikeville Jr High would demolish. Stupid.:flame:

I’m interested in the outcome of this game. I’ve always admired the Pike County Bowl but it’s been a while since I’ve been able to attend. There’s two things that I’m certain will happen. Pikeville will pull out the win late over Mingo and there will be so many West Virginian cars in the parking lot that it will seem like a Belfry home game.

It’s not about one or two players it’s about the team that comes out executes their game plan. I do believe it’s going to be a good one. I'd put Jackson Hensley up against him any day. Beside that, Pikeville has five or six more that are just as capable. Add in the run game with a stout O line, and a strong defense that flies to the ball, and Panthers got this.

They have a nice athlete in #11. But he’s no where close to the athlete #3 was for Bardstown in my opinion. And Pikeville was able to keep him in check after halftime. The thing Pikeville has is athletes all over the field. One player gets tired of guarding him, they got at least three more guys to line up over top of him that don’t have any fall off in talent.
