Most of Russell's damage was done on the ground. Russell left I think 3 td's out there by getting to the Mason County 26 or closer and either turning it over on downs or getting intercepted. I think there was 2 maybe 3 not sure, ints.


Russell needs to work on the passing game some.Lots of dropped passes. The defense sounded good from the stream though.Charlie Jachimczuk will hopefully become a better passer and the receivers will catch some of those drops that they had tonight. Russell was able to pretty much do what they wanted on the ground tonight.



Russell will get to see what their made of against a pretty good Raceland team next week though.

Good win to start the season, defense looked solid, they will have a better gage as to where they are early in the season next week

Mason was unfortunately awful in this game. The devils played well but Royals are worst shape than Devils program. The no tight ends and hop skip n jumping in the backfield will not work against Ironton or Raceland.

Anytime someone can prove me wrong or has a problem with what I say they are welcome to come right over ole guard and ram it down my throat. The trouble is they can’t deny the obvious signs of the truth such as Raceland Ironton Ashland will match devils athlete for athlete then what? It’s gonna come down to the war of the trenches!
