Belfry is probably a step below the top 3. Probably 5th after Pikeville IMO.

Yes seems to be the rumor year end year out . Something to do with an administrator Job he took. He does have several on staff now who are very capable. I’m sure it’s all rumor and speculation. I’d say the job is his as long as he wants it .

Lawrence County is the favorite but Johnson Central will be right there. Both teams have a lot clout back. JC loses most of their pitching while LC brings most of theirs back.

Paintsville and Pikeville will both be good just not as good as the top 2 teams. But I’m one game either team could beat anyone.

Those are the only 4 teams that I can see winning the region next year.

If the rumors I’ve heard about Belfry losing a couple kids I’d move them down to the 8-10 range.

Floyd Central is probably your number 5 team in the region next year (behind LC, JC, Paintsville, and Pikeville the clear top 4) sliding into Sheldon Clark’s (Martin County) place from this year. Good enough to upset a good team when their not on but not good enough to win a district/regional tourney. Sheldon Clark lost a lot and will take a step back next year.

One of the best Baseball minds in our area. Has been since his playing days. It’ll be awful hard for Shawn to walk away and be done with Basebsall.

Big blow to Johnson Central for the upcoming baseball season as Ryley Preece underwent ACL surgery earlier this week. I Hated to hear this, Ryley is a great kid that comes from a great family. This maybe puts Pikeville as the number 2 team behind Lawrence County in the region now.

Not even In middle
School years and moves to other surrounding county.will they be eligible to play baseball
