McNamee at QB is a stud. People are going to be surprised. Pikeville have speedsters at skill position. Keep eye on freshman rb/db Wright kid.

With all the talent Pikeville will have this season, really hoping to see Freshman RB Carson Wright get some pt. This kid was a beast last season. Hear that he is projected to be one of the best to ever come out of PHS. His style of running is very similar to Daric Pugh.

Saw on the 'transfer portal' that Pikeville was getting another transfer. This one, a senior from Madison Southern. Pikeville will be hard to beat.

Agreed, he has the potential to be one of the best. IMHO he will see plenty of PT.

Have to agree with Jet he is a dandy, how good will he be is entirely up to him. Has a lot of potential and could be one of the best to come out of Pikeville not because we say so but because he works hard to be. What I have seen out of him and heard he definitely isnât afraid of work. Good on both sides of the ball great potential and as always GO PANTHERS

Pikeville has always had skill and tallent at WR and always has a QB that is a dual threat or can atleast make plays w his legs. But when they are legit championship caliber, not just able to make it, they have a RB that gets them there. Last year it was a dual threat QB. Coach Macs boy is a great athelete. But I wouldnt call him dual threat. He is more of a pocket passer. Who is the one to watch for out of the backfield?

McNamee can take off and run from the pocket just fine.
Backfield is loaded. Collum looks like a pure beast, Raines was excellent back there last year, Collins, the freshman Wright, and more...
They can also give to speedster WRs on jet sweep.
Pikeville offense will put up huge numbers on offense running and passing IMO.:Cheerlead

His mother grew up in Pikeville and is a PHS grad.

Pikeville might actually qualify to play in 2A if they continue to get all these transfers. Two from Belfry at the end of last year, two from Letcher and now the young man from Madison Southern. Kudos....take all ya can get.

Freshman to be from Betsy Layne also enrolled last week.

Could be a tough year for freshman to get PT in the PHS backfield. Cody and numerous others have a lot of speed and power. I think we will have a different looking passing offense. Though we havenât seen Macnamee play a substantial amount of time he is a pocket passer but I what is really gonna be interesting is to see if he could make an impact in the RPO. Also I think underclassman could make their mark on defense once they get settled into the speed of the high school game. It for sure will be a fun year to watch and like most I think this team will GREATLY improve throughout the year. The finished product should be something, if we have the blocking.

True. We've seen him run when he got reps last season and he had pretty good speed for a qb his size. The thing about McNamee is he's hard to bring down. Now, he was a big ol boy last season and no doubt he's grown some since then. Add in the off season weight room, and that's just gonna help him with the run. Obviously, the more touches Jon Collum gets, the better he will be. Had good speed for his size last season, and again more touches will help. Cody Rains showed flashes of greatness last season, but the problem there was an injury kept him out for most, if not all of the season. But with Cody Rains, speed and quickness looks to be his forte. Again, as I said in another post, really excited to see incoming freshman rb Carson Wright get some pt. No doubt, we will be hearing a lot about In the wide receiver dept., with the addition of transfer Clay Tinsley, and another yr. of training and maturity for those returning, all I can say is they're gonna be fun to watch. Absolutely Loaded!!

No surprise here at all. This wide receiver corps is gonna be loaded in speed and experience. Watched some footage on Clay Tinsley last season at Mad. south, and don't know his time in the 40, but he looked to have plenty of speed and quickness. Isaac McNamee, having the height and accuracy that he does will have plenty of speedy targets to hit. Looking for a great season.irateSho
