This point is really not even up for debate IMO.
That kind of convoluted thinking is the exact reason so many kids from eastern ky seem to go unnoticed. Itâs also why top programs get accused of recruiting when players leave and come to play for them because they see light at the end of the tunnel.

Whether we're from Corbin or not doesn't change anything.Truth is truth. My entire point of the question is how can these guys just jump ship and bail on their brothers and teammates that they have played for with all their lives. All I'm herring is how parents don't like Hines and how he's not doing enough to get his kids to D1 schools. However If Hines isn't doing enough couldn't you say the same about every other Coach in this area. The only kids I can remember in recent years is Damien Harris and Tim Couch. I know Corbin has Longmire getting D 1 offers and Cox from Pulaski but how many other kids from the surrounding schools have kids going D1.

Corbin has a Senior Brummett ( who our little blue and green buddy doesnât want to talk about) going to Louisville. Wine a junior is also getting looks from D1 schools. If Chase Estep had wanted to play football thereâs no doubt in my mind thereâd have been a D1 offer for him maybe not as qb but heâd have played somewhere. Thereâs a couple other kids who could have possibly went D1 but they donât want to play football after school. There are several underclassman coming up that could end up at D1 schools, if they want to play Haddix is helping them get there...

Parents are stupid if they think its on the coach at any school to get them a division 1 scholarship.

Coach Haddix is doing a great job for his kids, I respect that.

Maybe not get them a scholarship but answer the phone when they call, donât keep info from them, and donât expect a kid to settle just because they worry about other kids and parents getting jealous...

Yes,and Brummett went to the camp Louisville put on along with Cox from Pulaski and both got offered along with a few others,Thats what you have to do these days. That's why these colleges put on these camps, and their not expensive either.I think UK's camp was 50 dollars and Louisville's was 65. But again my question is still not being answered. According to social media Cox has been offered by Several D1 schools so why would he leave all his teammates and brothers to play for his crosstown rivals. The other kids rumored to leave aren't D1 kids anyway.Their good players but their not big enough for D1.

again some are not listening. not communicating with players when a college coach contacts hines about the player is just one of many areas hines has problems with. You mentioned Johnson and Cox. you may want to talk to their parents and see how they feel if you can get them to talk. Hines does not care one bit about the players in many areas, talk to players and parents who have gone through his program. Again, why in the world would hines not tell a kid a college coach had discussed them him even if the player is not D1? So think about it - the player would never know the college coach asked about them-crazy

What a sad loser attitude. I wish more people knew how recruiting works.
Also can someone please post the long and distinguished list of Division 1 athletes that has been coached in HS by Foley? Larry French who just left SW coached a kid who went to USC. I didn't see 2 threads about kids leaving Pulaski when he was there. I'm tired of this garbage about Johhny's motivation to come back as well. He has been a HC for a long time. He simply went to G-town and discovered 2 things. #1 G-town is not a lot different that coaching at a great hs. #2 he wasn't the HC anymore and he didn't like being an assistant.

hines came back to stop foley from being the PC coach. hines and his small company can try to deflect all they want but its true. Also the players named must know something about recruiting they do have offers and I haven't heard anything about cox leaving he was at PC today

Thankyou, this is my point exactly. You could also ask yourself,if these kids had such a problem with Hines why didn't they leave last year when Hines came back in the first place. Fact is their being recruited and promised all this greatness if they just come on over to the other side. They just won a Regional title,Cox has D1 offers from multiple schools. They have a great team coming back and could possibly go to State. So I ask this question again HOW CAN THEY JUST LEAVE THEIR TEAMMATES AND BROTHERS to go play for their crosstown rivals?

If people need to know more about how recruiting works they could possibly ask the PC staff to give them a rundown. Considering SW players have been getting phone calls from PC coaches about moving over.

Which school is recruiting. Because Johnny Hines has been the one on the phone talking to players from SW about coming over to PC.

This is getting way above and beyond what I intended, so let me relay this, I think the world of Coach Hines have a ton of respect for him and wish him and the PC program nothing but the best...Whatever is going on with him and his kids I donât have a clue just going off whatâs being put on here and I donât even know if itâs true. I do however think your wrong about Brummett but Iâm not sure I wanna say he was injured over the last two summers and couldnât attend any camp and that he was virtually unknown to all but a few schools. I do know that he done exactly what youâve been referring to about by transferring schools and itâs hard to argue the results...

I really don't know if these kids are leaving or not.I will say this though if Cox is looking for another school to go to he would look awful good in RED ! I may know of an empty apartment or two for rent!!!!

Not a joke. Ask Hines, heâs an honest man by your account. Iâm sure he will own up to it.

Or maybe it was just a misunderstanding and he called the wrong number and accidentally asked if they would have any interest in playing for him.

Or maybe it was Haddix disguising his voice.

Look I don't know Foley at all,but I do keep up with Football in that area and have for the past 10 years.Foley is a great Coach but he is new and unproven in the high school head coaching game.(one season isn't enough)It just seems to me that he would prove himself more by building a winning program with the kids that is already in the program. Winning with a group of kids that you go out and recruit doesn't prove anything.

I don't think the problem at PC is about Foley its about Johnny Hines. I think a player or parent can tell if a coach cares about kids and hines does not give out those vibes. I also don't think the problem is with parents with unrealistic hopes with their kids. There are too many players who have passed through PC who don't have very good things to say about hines and on top of that he's lost several good coaches who don't have good things to say. Rumor is the administration is just hanging on hoping this passes.

Well this has been a fun chat but the truth of the matter is the three kids rumored of going to SW has decided to go to Corbin instead. With the addition of these 3 Corbin will be unstoppable. Haddix has won the recruiting war. Also herd Hines has resigned as the PC head coach and will be replaced by Jason Foley. Foley stating that Pulaski had always been where he wanted to be so he couldn't pass on the opportunity.French will be returning to SW where he will stay until his son will takes over next year.
