Listened to some of it on the radio. Sounded like a hard fought game to the end. Congrats to the Pirates! On to the next!

Letcher loses 4 Seniors after this season including their top 3 scorers. They will have 9 incoming Seniors so they will have to have some of those guys to step up to replace that scoring.

^ Letcher will always be Letcher, no matter if they have 6 seniors or 0. No matter if they have the best player in the Region or not. They will always be the program that falls short.

The 12th region refs let them play in this game. It took a pretty obvious foul to get one called. But the second game between Breathitt and Hazard was just the opposite. They called fouls if they breathed on one another.

Powell County has been playing really well lately, not surprised to see them win this game. Congrats to the host school, Powell County!

Unless they've removed it, he was only there on an interim basis. I can see them giving him the job if he wants it.

Man what is your problem with Letcher and their kids? They play as hard as any team in this region and do it without the yearly cycle of transfers unlike other teams. The game last night was determined by a last second call that NEVER gets called in most games. There were calls missed under the basket on both sides all night. So why make that call to determine the game? Maybe you should put in to coach LCC since you can obviously do better with our program. Fans are fans and are going to support their team no matter what win or lose. It was a good game that both teams deserved to win but it would have been better if it wasnât determined by a last second call.

No but that last second bullshit call had everyrhinngto do with it! You realize you are calling a group of high school kids bottom dwellers right? When you yourself probably couldnât hold a candle on the court to any of them. Itâs one thing to not like a school but to say bottom dweller program means that you are saying our players are trash and I donât think to many parents will take kindly to that....I sure as hell donât!! It doesnât matter how large the damn school is when transfers are being piped through the other programs so enough of that âitâs the largest schoolâ bullshit. I think everyone is tired of hearing that.

Point made. I do take offense to the bottom dweller program comment considering my son plays for LCC. That takes away from the hard work and dedication these kids have put in to play high school basketball.
