Final

Ashland cut the lead to 8 points with 19 seconds remaining but Elliott got a steal and layup and finished with 2 free throws.
Ashland has a couple of players added to the roster in the last 10 days that have been out all year with injuries. One is freshman guard Cole Villers and the other is a 6â5 center that was injured during football season. They both looked good in this game and should be a tremendous help going into post season tournament play.
But from what I could see last night Elliott is extremely quick, great defense and great shooters. They donât have any size but they make up for it with hustle and good fundamental basketball. They should win the region unless another team gets hot or they have a complete meltdown, which I doubt happens with Spencer running the offense.
