Big time upset.........or is it really??? No Moreno, Scott Co in trouble. Not going to win the region.

If Scott County isn't hitting a ton of 3's, they can be beat by several teams.

Dunbar was only 11-16 going in. Rojas?Help us understand this score.

Moreno was only one not playing for Scott Co. Lorenzo Williams was back for Scott and played most of the game.

From what I gather just got beat no excuses. Coach Hicks said "Got out rebounded, got out hustled, got out shot, other than that we played great" LOL. I remember before the season Dunbar got 3 I think foreign exchange students that were supposed to be pretty good wondering if they might be finally rounding into form. How many Coaches are calling Dunbar this morning to get a copy of that tape.

I wish I could. I wasnât there. Iâm actually camping this weekend. Scott Countyâs only weakness, especially without Moreno, is size. They are very small. Dunbar goes 6â8â, 6â8â, and 6â7â. For many of Dunbarâs loses their best guard did not play. His replacement was a freshman and a little shaky. When Dunbar has their whole team they can beat anyone in the region.
By the way, this loss broke a 62-game regular season winning streak against Kentucky schools for Scott County. The last time a Kentucky school beat them in the regular season was 2016.

Congrats Dunbar, this one of a few freaky Friday shockers.

My understanding is that is up to Moreno. Iâve been told Dr. has released him to play and Physically he is good to go and has been for a couple weeks. Mentally, he is afraid to get hurt again.

The mental barrier is hard to overcome sometimes.

Probably smart on his part. Don't think for a second that several of the colleges he has offers from, would back out in a second if he broke it again, because they would think it was a issue that will come up a lot. Even though he's never really been hurt that I'm aware of.

I donât know. Would a coach not question his heart if he chooses not to play?
