Middlesboroi 44 Bell Co. 31

Great game and atmosphere, Brock played well for MHS tonight. Finished with 2 hand monster dunk on old team. I guess he introduced himself tonight. If you were at the last games introduction you will understand that one. Playing better as district approaches. Going to be a good one.

On a brighter note for Bell fans, your coach didn't try tp fight anyone tonight. I would like to see him tell Morris what he told Corbins coach.

The Boro has made a complete turn around in athletics. They were at a all time low not that long ago. Not sure who is responsible but keep it up. I hear they may be bringing in more some more great coaches (Football and basketball) in the near future. Unbelievable atmosphere!

Right at 50 fouls called, nobody shooting free layups tonight. Fouls on both sides evenly called. Very physical game. Plus both teams actually played great defense. Anyone remember that word DEFENSE

“Great Defense”? With 50 fouls called I wouldn’t consider that great defense.

Tough loss for my Bobcats. I would like to see us speed things up with the athletes we have. Maybe we will meet for the rubber match in the district!

Has Middlesboro added any transfers in the last two or three years?

Brock from Bell County. He played pretty well last night. And 2 brothers I think from Lynn Camp named Overbay. Their dad got hired as the girls coach.

Those two were at Middlesboro until spending one year at Lynn Camp when their dad coached there.

Hold Bell to 31 I call it great defense. Maybe you can call it aggressive defense. There was no stall ball played. I will call it great defense.

It was just my attempt at being funny. Both teams are really good teams.

I can attest to Middlesboro being able to guard and be physical. They had couple pretty good south players frustrated for a good part of the game when they played.

Sorry, we have been blasted so long I am slow about sarcasm.

This year’s Middlesboro team is the best they have had in a while. I’d love to see them play Bell again though! Hopefully in the district. Maybe we can get a little more creative on offense too!
