BC is a train wreck. Top to bottom. Coach Jones is gonna have a tough row to hoe. Extremely difficult district with Boyle, Lex Cath and Anderson. Interest has dropped off the cliff. Wish him the best.....but there is ALOT to do.

I was hoping he might have considered MHS, Congratulations and good luck at Bourbon. Most of the good ones are going. I also heard that JoJo Kemp may be joining him?

I can't think of a more competitive district in 4A...especially with Anderson Co seemingly on the proverbial "rise". If they can sustain their recent success....boy oh boy.....Herculean challenge

It'll be interesting for the mere fact that this may be the first school Coach Jones has been at that the football program competes with a marching band, soccer, cross country, for priorities and to get kids out. How well can he adapt to a Central Kentucky coaching style? A tough task lies ahead, hopefully the community supports him and players. Good Luck Coach!

....is JoJo putting on pads? I can't see him making much of a difference otherwise.

I think it's a great hire for Bourbon Co but not so much for Coach Jones. If they give him time, he could do it.

Btw, Anderson Co will continue to rise. They will be a close second behind Boyle Co this season. They are in our Salt River Conference in middle school and have performed well, winning the championship once in the last five years (Boyle Co won the other four) and they are HUGE. They lack a lot of speed but have some great football players there.

No. We are discussing the fact that Bourbon Co got a new head coach and the district he is in will be extremely difficult considering the state of that program.

I get that. Lexington and Centeal KY is an awesome area to live. Yes itâs a long way from Phelps.....I just donât understand why taking a shot at Eastern KY?? Itâs just gets tiresome overall. The stereotypes are so off base in many many ways.

The shots are really bothersome when you know East Kentucky coal money made Lexington what it is, then some from the big grand city attempt to belittle and insult those from the mountains.
