Estill at Powell Dec. 14th
#1
I'll go Estill by 10-25 points. Powell is averaging 2 3's a game on 8 shots and 12 free throws a game on 23 attempts. You have to make 3's and free throws to win games, they have yet to do either. There's no way for us to know, but there is a decent chance that they are averaging more turnovers per game than made free throws and 3's combined per game. Plus, they are averaging less than 37% from the field. However, Estill is just as bad or worse; shooting 36% from the field, 30% from 3, and 61% from the free throw line. If it wasn't for Dakota Brown Estill would have beaten Powell by 25 last year. Now, Estill doesn't have Brewer, but still. This one looks to be a defensive game, as neither team is very efficient. I think Estill is a lot better and will get the win in the first game of the year between these two schools, 52-39 in an ugly game. Look for Powell to lose composure early. Go Neers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interested to see the outcome of this 56th district game. Owsley and Lee play tonight at Beattyville.

I think Estill will win both games but I don't think neither will be blowouts. It's in Stanton and the Pirates are always tough on their own home court.

Will be much closer than you think, two very similar teams who i think match up well with each other.
