Sorry instead of Jimmy Stumbo and John Meade splitting the 5th spot i am goin to let them be honorable mentions and change my list to this.

1. Mikey Hall...................All time leading scorer

2. Justin Page.................Most athletic player to come out or SF

3. Rusty Tackett.............If not for playing with Mikey Hall would have been number 1

4. Ryan Shannon.............Scored over 1000 points on a team with alot of talent

5. Jason Shannon (J-Bird)..Better all around player that Tyler Hall and just as good as shooter.

Jimmy Stumbo good big man in a time when the 15th region had some big guys. Only got one good solid year as a varsity player.

John Meade ran the team for 2 years and played alot as a soph. Would have started on almost all the 15th region teams his soph. year. Played his best when he led the 2001 team through the 15th region tourney.

1 Rusty Tackett easy pick for me, watched all these guys play and he was the best IMO.

2 Michael Hall

3 Jason Shannon

4 Ryan Shannon

5 TT Pack/Justin Paige

I think Timothy Butler could have been one of the best if he would have had his head screwed on straight He could shoot the three, penetrate, and dunk over you. he was the most explosove and athletic player from SF ever.

there were several that would have been on the list from the wheelwright and mcdowell era but this is about SF era.

I'll post my top 5.
Mike Hall
John Meade
Jimmy Stumbo
Justin Paige
Rusty Tackett

Mikey was the best, and Personally I think John Meade was second because I liked the way he played but thats just me, Big Jimmy Stumbo always played hard and had a good career at ALC, Paige and Tackett also had good Careers.

Honerable Mention
Tyler Hall, Ryan Shannon

 Looks Good to me.....

I didn't think John Meade was all that good. At least not top 5 all time good.
#14
John was a pretty good player and probably the coaches were more aware of the things he did. Meade was a good defensive man and looked often for his other players to score. He did many good things and the biggest contribution that I thought he had was the fact he did not care who scored as long as the team could win.
#15
1.Jimmy Stumbo........Big Dipper 15th region player of the yr 2000.....58th district player of the yr in 2000.....First South Floyd player to ever do so....The best player on the team that acomplished a lot of firsts and put SF on the map in the 15th....Team player...great attitude...loved the game...loved SF...I say don't embarass any other player that played at SF by comparing him to Jimmy....Some may have more points but he was the main man for a magical season....Jimmy helped shed the loser mentality SF used to be labeled with.
#16
2. Ryan Shannon......4yr starter...excellent ball handler...decision maker...tireless defender....worked harder than any guard to ever wear a SF jersey. He also scored a 1000 points...would have had more but spent some time under a questionable coach as did a lot of the 2000 Raiders.
#17
3. Mikey Hall.......started as an 8th grader and flourished under Henry Webb's style of basketball. Great penetrator and ball handler...good shooter and defender...leading all-time scorer..definetly one of the greats.
#18
4. Rusty Tackett......deadly shooter...tireless defender....great instincts for the ball...quickest first step to ever be on the hill in left beaver....he would just make people look stupid with his skills....so talented it was scarry.
#19
5. John Meade......best defender SF ever had...good decision maker...didn't care who scored and was unselfish..worked hard and was athletic as all get out....
#20
I think Nick Compton, Jason Shannon, and T.T. Pack all deserve a mention because they were definetly great players......I also contend that the 2000 Raiders were the best team SF ever had.....even though they didn't get to Rupp..they set the tone for the future...check your records before 2000 SF was a joke...I think that would be Coach Webb's favorite too.....I'm partial though.....lol
