Back to the game. IMO, BC âs finesse style of play was their Achilles heel. We saw that last week against Belfry. The Pirates just let them off the hook with all the turnovers.

Turnovers went against BC tonight and Corbinâs physical style prevented the Rebelâs from getting into a good flow.

Congrats to the Redhounds. Yâall deserved it

Congrats Corbin, you guys wanted it more than we did tonight. We turned the ball over alot tonight, but they weren't "gifts", they were fumbles and you guys deserved the win! Tough bunch of guys you got on your team.

Just the way I thought it would go. I really didnât think Boyle was a whole lot better than Corbin last year. I knew they lost more to graduation than did Corbin. Plus, I knew the new WV was more mobile and therefore a bigger threat to Boyleâs defense.

I've said all year that I believed Corbin was the best team in 3A this year. You can go back and see it in my posts. I also said Boyle was the champions until they got beat. That was true to. Boyle County has a great football team and theres nothing to be down about. The Hounds are on a mission. And I still believe their the best team. But, if they dont go to Lexington and play Corbin football they to will get beat. I dont think that will happen though. Congrats Boyle County on a fantastic year. Hounds, you got one more game. Go get it done!

I just wanted to congratulate the Hounds on a great game. They excuted the game plan to perfection. The Rebels were outcoached and outplayed.

Congrats Hounds. Way to take it right at them, no gimmicks, no fluke plays, just tough, hard nosed game played the same way you've played all year and that was good enough. Physicality will beat finesse more times than not in cold conditions. Pulling for you next week to take the title home..

Central is a very, very good team. Corbin could play well next week and still come up on the short end of the scoreboard, but, they're certainly capable of bringing the trophy home and I'm pulling for them to do so.

Central can absolutely win next week, that's why their playing in the Championship. But this Ol Boy is pulling for the Hounds. And here's why. It's not that I hate Boyle, or Central, or any other team. It's because Central has won theirs, we got ours, and Boyle won last year. If we cant win it I want somebody new to. That's why I root for Corbin. Plus, I've got to know a couple of Corbin people on here that I consider friends. But at the end of the day, to me, its Corbins turn.

Shoutout to Corbinâs corners on the night. Taylor Johnson, a kid who played his first season this year. Dylan Massengil, a kid who started when the starter went down and is a sophomore. Played their tails off.

Corbin was by far the better team in this game. The fumbles inside the 10 were big, but Corbin was better even without them.

I hope Reese Smith is OK. He didn't move for quite awhile after that play and I feared the worst. I'm guessing he was out cold and has a concussion.
