What coach works the hardest as far as calling college coaches sending tapes bringing them in to watch games constantly grinding just as hard as his players to get them to the next level

My question is! Do they get payed to get them to next level? Or if you have a young man with great talent, coaches will find them or they must get out to camps to be seen?
I will answer the question after more respond.

A good high school coach will have college contacts to help their kids but most don’t so it’s really up to the parents to get their kid on right aau teams that have those relationships and play in tourneys that college coaches attend

How many players from those regions are currently playing college basketball? I am not really familiar with the 16th Region, with the exception of Jordan Perry playing and doing very well at UPike.

In the 14th, Knott Central has 6 that I know of playing college basketball. 2 at IUPUI and 4 at Alice Lloyd. I know Knott Central and Alice Lloyd are practically neighbors, but at the same time it is college basketball.

Perry Central has Damon Tobler at UPike and Idris Akinyemi at Alice Lloyd. Of course Braxton Beverly got his start at Perry Central too.

Most kids can’t play college basketball. If coaches in these regions have a kid that can, they will do what is needed.

These regions don’t produce many D-1 college level players. The ones that do play college are usually NAIA, which is still good competive basketball. And regardless of the level of basketball the young men still get a college education.
I’m sure most high school coaches will do whatever it takes to get them on a college team if the talent is there.

Cordia over the last 6 years has had several D 1 college or smaller schools. Emanuel owootooah( Fresno state), Marquis Nole (Arkansas little rock), Malik Hines (UMASS), Anthony Nelson (Seton Hall), Christan Cunningham (Louisville) Kalil Willams( university of Houston Football) Chris Hudson ( Miami university football) Malik Henry ( UPIKE football) Fritz Lucen signed with somebody but I can't remember who at the present time. Bottom line if you have the athletes that play AAU college coaches will find you high school coaches are pretty. Much irrelevant in this day and time. I think they teach kids how to play basketball better but sadly people don't want that now AAU has destroyed high school basketball.

Dont forget Justin Johnson (Western Ky) and Jaysean Paige (West Virginia University) from Perry Central, and both are playing overseas. Matt Day (UVA Wise) and Conner Hoskins (Transy) played at Buckhorn. We have had some nice players from here. Not all NAIA.

100% agree with this. From daylight to dark, 365 days a year that man is all about trying to get his players better. Great coach. Very tempered, but great coach. Lol
