WWE Survivor Series needs to be moved back to Thanksgiving Eve or Thanksgiving night. From 1987 through 1994, Survivor Series took place on either Thanksgiving Eve or Thanksgiving Day.

With the popularity and insane number of subscribers to the WWE network, putting Survivor Series head-to-head with NFL football on Thanksgiving night would be awesome.
My family would have put Survivor Series on in a different room so all the kids and most of the adults would be leave the rest of the boring family members alone.
When I think of Survivor Series the 1989 (5 team matches), 1990 (6 team matches) & 1991 (4 team matches & the WWF title match) events are the molds all other Survivor Series needs to come from.
1987 & 1988 were good because of the talent on the cards, but the creative formula wasn't figured out just yet.
1992-2016 have had some great events, but Creative got away from the "Teams of Five Try to Survive" format.
2017 was a great show, the Raw v. SmackDown Live brands is a great concept for this event.

Most of us old school fans can remember the promos the talent filmed for Saturday morning wrestling.
My favorite Survivor Series promos are from the 1989 team of Hogan, Demolition & Jake the Snake & the 1992 Undertaker promo making the coffin for Kamala in the blacksmith shop..... this is my favorite promo before the Monday night wars started,

Why does it need to be moved back to Thanksgiving? That's taking the wrestlers away from their families around Thanksgiving. It's fine right where it's at.

The "rumor & innuendo", according to the podcast "Something to Wrestle w/ Bruce Prichard", Thanksgiving & Christmas used to be the biggest days of the year for the wrestling business. The WWF and the other territories used to run 2 or 3 shows a day on Thanksgiving & Christmas day.
No doubt in my mind that VKM would bring the talents families to the arena for a catered Thanksgiving day meal.
I mean.... I'm pretty sure VKM reads BGR all the time and takes my opinion on his multi-billion dollar company very seriously, but I think it would be cool to see the 2nd of the 'Big 4' moved back to it's original date once in a while.

I was just curious as to why you would want it moved back. Their was a reason he moved it to begin with. Not trying to sound like a butthole. Just curious is all.

My guess as to why WWF/VKM moved Survivor Series to Sunday is to keep it uniform with the other PPV's.... could be wrong, but that is my guess.
