Didn't have the tailgate party tonight BP, and there were no concessions, but I did put in an extra cheer or 2 for ya!

I have to say that I was very impressed with the shotgun being ran tonight. The passes by Bowe were right on the money. I also liked the agressive hitting on D. Andrew Elkins did a nice job qb'ing the white team. I am so ready for August!!!

First of all, I am so happy that Belfry football season is getting closer everyday. Secondly, it was great to watch the boys scrimmage each other and look good doing it, although some of the players were playing baseball.

Nick Bowe threw some of the prettiest passes that I have seen from a Belfry quaterback in a long time. :football: Plus, he looked comfortable from the shotgun and in the pocket. He also ran the option well,and scored on quaterback keeper. This kid impressed me.

And on defense, Chad Steele and Phillip Hickman layed some hits that stopped people dead in their tracks. Chad looked like a bus coming at you.

Once again, Belfry football is looking good. :Thumbs:

This is great news and makes many of us very happy. I look for a great season this year and may be a nice passing game to go with it.

Nick looked very good the other night passing, he told me he done ok after taking a year off of not passing. Last year was the first time in 6-7 years he didnt get to play Qb. But he did great playing defense last year. He's a good kid. He will always do what the coaches ask.

Nick doesnt't know yet, Belfry hasn't used all of there 10 spring practices yet. They have 2 or 3 more left. Nick said this Monday and Tuesday they will be getting ready for the passing tourments. It wont be like last year and toss them into the fire.

As soon as I find out a date and time I will post it here first. Or you can ask Nick Im sure he would tell you when he finds out.
