Washington had a chance to win it on the last play in regulation, but the 37 yard field goal attempt by kicker Peyton Henry was no good. Washington had the first possession in overtime and had to settle for a 22 yard field goal. Oregon won it when runningback Verdell score from 6 yards out. He finished with 111 yards on the day.
