If the playoffs were like they used to be and should be. The loser wouldn’t even make the playoffs. But let’s drag it out
#4
The BEST teams in the state squared off. And in 3 weeks you had 3 state champs. Not 6. If you wanted to be in the playoffs. Get a better football team

Cov Cath.....Big!
#6
It WILL be said this game doesn’t mean anything. Well then just cancel the darn thing and wait for the playoffs
#7
Highlands is better than the last 3 years. But we will find out just how good. They better surprise Cov Cath with a different defense. Scott Co exposed it with almost 300 yards rushing in the first half.

CCH will beat them badly next week....and they will beat them badly in week 3 of the playoffs!
Highlands doesn't have anywhere near the horses to run with CCH.

Let’s be honest, other than pride this game doesn’t mean anything other than home field advantage in the regional finals. Regardless,'Cov cath needs to get some injured players back in action and make a statement with this game on the road. It could be interesting.

If Cov Cath is fairly healthy. Interesting? Yeah when the running clock starts

Alright. Yeah it’s totally feasible or even likely for Cov cath to blow the doors off highlands regardless if they are healthy or not. I’m just saying that this is a rivalry game and we shall see how it plays out. It will be interesting how each team responds

I’m interested in Highlands response. If they get down 3 or 4 scores. To see if they claw and fight back. Or just roll over and die What I’m saying. IF Cov Cath jumps on them. Will they get beat 56 to 7. Or 56 to 30?

....or will the birds jump out to a 21-0 lead? Only time will tell

Are you saying Highlands could play with Bishop and Cathedral?

While Highlands is a good football team and is one of Kentucky High School football's most storied programs I'm going with Cov.Cath in this one. I dont think I would pick against Cov.Cath against anyone in Kentucky this year, regardless of class. I think their the best team in the state this year. Good luck to both teams.

I agree with you. I think Highlands can make it a respectable game if the play their best with no TO’s, dropped TDs etc.

Cov. Cath 42
Highlands 17

What is the all time leading standings between these two teams? Just curious.
#19
I’m not sure Highlands can do this. But shorten the game. Don’t try any home rum shots. Try to get first downs. And use ball control. And the big one. No turnovers. But on this note. Will Highlands remember the drubbing they took twice. And once again know they are outclassed. And the teams Cov Cath has already beaten? Even if it gets in some heads. It could spell disaster
