I think theyâve had some âdecentâ teams over the years. But overall and typically not very good. But most mountain and rural schools districts are generally very weak with one good school and maybe a decent one or two then a nobody.

But thatâs how it goes. Thatâs why I hate listening to âcity folkâ in Louisville complain about the top teams being in the same district. Well thatâs a product of the geography. What schools wouldnât wanna have the advantage of pulling from a huge city and not have to play anyone else that has the same advantage

West Carter is actually going into 2A and will be in the district with us, Magoffin will be moving into the belfry district.

I hate to see SC going the way of the dodo. They had some heavy duty slugfests with my Blackcats in the 90's and 00's. Pleased to hear that Martin Co HS will be keeping the Cardinal as mascot.

Belfry by as much as Haywood chooses to score.

I thought West Carter was going to be in 3A District 6

West Carter in 2a in SC district. Easy check on KHSAA website.
