After one loss in their previous history against Simon Kenton, Highlands has suffered three straight losses. After a 35-30 loss last season, the Bluebirds come into the 2018 game much improved with a 4-1 record. Simon Kenton is 5-0, but the schedule hasn't been a championship test, with the five opponents amassing a 6-17 record. Does Simon Kenton make it four straight over the Birds, or does Highlands get back to the winning side of the ledger against the Pioneers?

Simon Kenton has given up a lot of points to very weak competition this season. Their practice of soft scheduling will come back to haunt them in this one and in the post-season. Birds by at least 3 touchdowns.

I think HHS wins this. They really don’t have any super stars. But right now playing well as a team.

I watched the Highlands -Lex Cath game and thought Highlands outclasses the Lex Cath by more than the final margin of victory. I'm glad they are slowly returning to their former selves. I'm going with Highlands in this one.

SK gives up 28 to a weak Meade County and 20 to 2 teams without a win all season in Byron Station and Dixie Heights, but you think they will hold Highlands to 21? This is laughable.

Neither team is in the same "realm" that the Park Hills Colonels operate in. It will be a battle of second/third place. The only team that can beat Cov Cath is Cov Cath. If they stay healthy and execute with mediocrity, they will walk away with another State Championship. If they execute on the level they are capable of, they will dominate these two teams and the rest of the state. Playing DeSales (Columbus) will be a better sign of where they are. Yes, you have to play the game and anything can happen, but they are GOOD.
Best to SK and HHS.

They just need to get everybody healthy for the playoffs....cause thatâs all that really matters isnât it?
Best to SK and HHS.
Iâm thinking the birds should win by 2 scores

Is Simon Kenton on the same level as Scott County? Scott County followed up the Highlands win with a W against Moeller and then played LaSalle. I do not see any of these three teams on the Simon schedule.
Highlands wins this game by no less than 2 scores, rain or no rain.
