Panthers come in at 3-1 vs Point Pleasant. I know next to nothing about WV football, so who ya got and why? Go Panthers!

My West Virginia football knowledge is strictly limited to Belfry, going to be fun too see Pikeville line up against an opponent like Point Pleasant and hopefully it's a good close game.

Pikeville by two scores in a hard-fought game. Good luck Panthers.

Interesting game for sure. Point Pleasant is usually realllt good and they have the Moth Man as the 12th man. Not sure who wins!

Point Pleasant is the real deal. If Pikeville comes out with a hangover from last week they will get smoked.

Have no clue of wv football, but I do know that Point Pleasant is a 2- A wv power that is 4-0 at this point with it,s win over hoover High School Friday. They have a stout looking line on offense with some big bodies on that line. On offense, they like to run out of the pistol, and shotgun with a speedy back by the name of brady Adkins. He's considered one of their offensive leaders as a Jr. From what I saw, they didn't throw the ball any. all run from the Adkins kid, and he is a speedster. On D, they look to line up in a 4 - 3. same kid (Adkins) flys to the ball at his safety position. Very solid looking ball club. Looks like the Panthers will have to bring their A game Friday. Got faith in the Panthers though, believe they can do it.:redboxer:

Not sure what game you watched but they do throw the ball. Their QB has the best stats in WV as far as career QB numbers

Saw highlights of the Hoover game. In those highlights #21, the Adkins kid ran the ball on every down. I said in my post "from what I saw". Didn't say they don't throw the ball. Just pointing out that particular rb looked very impressive, and is a leader as a jr. If their qb has that kind of stats, then that's another threat as a team.

I watched two films on Pt Pleasant, they do ever aspect of the game very well. The quarterback is a dual threat he runs and threws well. Defense plays similar to Pikeville but looks like the two insidebackers are bigger than Pikevilles. The receivers runs their patterns pretty good and have some speed. All in all there is a lot of similarities to Pikeville. I do know one thing Pikeville is going to have to put out a good effort to come out of Mothman ville with a win. They can get it done but we will have to wait and see but as always GO PANTHERS!!!

I am like everyone else. I know nothing of WV football but regardless, I am pulling for Pikeville.

Just finished watching some Max Preps video, and your right Patriot. Their qb does look like a dual threat. After looking at some more players on video, this team does look like the real deal. Don't know for sure, but wouldn't wv 2-A be equivalent Ky. 3-A ?

Point Pleasant is a Top 10 2A football team in WV. Right now their ranked #8 and are 4-0. They are the only team to beat a good Mingo Central team so far this year. They are the real deal. They are a well balanced, hard hitting team with some play makers. QB and RB are ballers. Pikeville will get all they want and more in this one. I hope I'm wrong but I see Pikeville having a game similar to what they had this past Friday against Belfry. Point isn't as good as the Pirates but theyll be playing in their own backyard. Bad as I hate to I'm going to say Point Pleasant beats the Panthers 35-28.

Some teams would be. WV 2A is kind of a mix of KY 2A and 3A as far as school size.

Point isnât very good and if Pikeville slows their QB down itâll be 42-14 or so.

We'll see. Hope your right because I'm all about KY football beating WV football. But I'll have to disagree that Point isn't very good because they are. But again, I'd love to eat my words on this one. My second favorite team behind Belfry is the Panthers of Pikeville.

3 of PP's wins are over the equivalent of Estill Co., Magoffin Co. and Pineville. But, they beat also beat a decent Mingo Central and are a decent team playing at home. Pikeville would roll at home but will have to play very well to get the win on the road.

I hope the Panthers put a running clock on them. But I'm afraid that wont be the case. I agree, if playing at Hambley, Pikeville wins. But you how it is playing across the river, very one sided zebra's if you know what I mean. But I'm hoping the Panthers get it done.

I agree #55PirateFan, Pikeville canât play like they did Friday night and win this game. Canât miss assignments got to tackle better and got to definitely execute better in their offense. I think (purely opinion) Pikeville is going to have to get everyone involved in the offense and defense. Point Pleasantâs offense line is not Belfryâs no where close but they are good. Yes I can see Pikeville losing this game but I also can see them winning but itâs up to them to self check themselves and start playing the game they can. Going to be a real test for these young men to see if they can bounce back to playing their game after a loss. Have all the faith in them in the world but itâs entirely up to them. As always GO PANTHERS!!!

Good luck to the panthers

I think Zack Roberts and the panthers should win if we play good. Yes, I said we. Because.... Iâm Zack Roberts #15. As always, go Panthers (love you patriot). Btw I just want to say one more thing. Jet Pilot, all of us read BGR and we love you so much and love that you are such a savage on here
