Russell 49 Boyd County 0
#1
Final
#2
Congrats to the devils

Did TJ do anything right in this one ?

I’m glad this one went well for Russell. But winning against BC isn’t the cure for the Devils season.
#5
Congrats to Russell.

This was a much needed win for Russell and especially the way they played on offense and defense against Boyd County winning 49-0. Russell should be 2-2 right now if they took care of business at home in the Ironton loss. If they take care of business next week at home vs. West Carter then they should be at 5-3 heading into the Bath County and Raceland games to finish the season. I think many fans thought that Russell would win at home vs. Boyd County but not by the final score 49-0. We now need another convincing Win next week at Home vs. West Carter.

This was an important statement for Russell to make that their rumored demise has been greatly exaggerated. I know Boyd isn’t good, but 42 in the first half tells me Russell was ready to play. Now they can head into their district play with some good vibes.

West will be no pushover but the evils should get the W

Way to go Russell!

Congrats devils a must win game and kids and staff got it done big time wish them the best but still several tuff ones left on the schedule

Good win the kids! Russell looked like they played harder and with more purpose other than that Boyd still not a good team football still seems to be in the dark ages in cannonsburg. West won’t be push over but Devils will prevail at home. Devils need to focus on district play and getting better each week. Russell needs to make it a priority to develop an identity on offense, 6 to 7 bread and butter plays they can use to get the tough yards.

Boyd is Boyd. Figured they could score and keep it closer. Congrats Devils.
#13
Glad Russell finally got a tally in the win column

I liked it when they went under center with a tight end and gave it to #32 for the score. I think that jumbo package could be a bread and butter short yardage play
