My Rockcastle friends I hate to say this but Woodford County is horrible football team. This is surprising.

Congrats To Woodford County! they are not a terrible team. Rock was missing it's 2 best running backs who were also leaders on defense at outside linebacker.. But the next man up.. Woodford has got some good players.. I wish them continued success.. From A Rock fan!

Woodford actually played nearly mistake free. They did not look like a horrible team. The story is speed vs no speed. Rocks two losses have been against two teams that basically got to the edge with speed. Whitley tried to play smash mouth to their detriment. Paris had the speed and scored plenty but could not match the power game enough on defense. Having two of the best athletes out for the game didn't help, but until Rock can stop the perimeter attack they are going to struggle.

Whitley County is down and didn't come to play , and Woodford is not a good team at all. You'll see that as the season progresses.

Woodford is one of the worst teams in Class 5A and probably the worst team in Central KY. But, let's give them some credit. They won in a big way. We will have to wait and see if they can continue the success.

Whitley may have not come to play against the Rock. but they certainly had a couple players that came to play dirty with the late hits, yanking off the Running backs helmets after the play was over and piling on Rock's Senior running backs even after one of them had scored a TD and was lying in the end Zone.. And Whitley's dirty play resulted in ejections and suspensions for the next game against Woodford County for doing nothing wrong.. The Rock Player in the end zone finally tried to fight them off, and the other Rock player didn't do anything after they ripped his helmet off.. But The officials ejected him as well.. The sorriest game I have ever heard about in Rockcastle County HS football history..

if I was the coach and that happened I'd yank the whole starting lineup out of the game and put 11 more in.
