Rankings are meaningless...... Only ranking that matters is the one around the first of Dec. That’s my thought.

True, but, some people enjoy the discussion and banter.. If you aren't one of those, cool, then don't..

Not too bad. I would replace Simon Kenton and Ballard with Anderson County and South Oldham
#6
I’d switch corbin and Johnson central. Sorry pulp. And move beechwood up by a lot and Lex Cath down

That might be true but one of the reasons to have a message board is to talk about stuff like this.

There always has to be some righteous comment about how they dont mean anything. We know. We get it.

Ballard has a better win than those two. Now.

How is an 0-4 Trinity ranked that high? Don't get me wrong, I fully understand their schedule and that they have the talent to beat 99% of the teams in Ky.

Well you just answered your own question. Because they will probably win the rest of the regular season

If there is a better team than Cov Cath, I'd be surprised.

Some Ashland fans may have a gripe with Central being ranked that far ahead. That should be a great matchup.

CovCath 🙄

In all honesty. Probably not. I’d say the only team with a shot to beat Cov Cath is Male. Outside of them, a couple teams might be able to play close to them kinda but would walk away with a sure loss.
#14
All of the top 10 teams could beat CovCath. Good Lord people. 🙄

Only ranking that matters are week 15 trophy holders, anything before that is opinion.

Looks about right. Only thing I might change is I'd move Corbin a spot or two higher. All in all probably the most accurate one I've seen. But that's just me.

That’s a bold statement. Have you seen them play? What would you consider cov caths biggest strength to be? Biggest weakness?

I watched the 5A title game. Meh. Didn't scare me.

Not much speed.

Lost their QB.

Not big.

No way could beat Male which I feel is the best team in KY.

I think last year they would have gave trinity a game. But I don’t know if Male could beat them. We’ll see where corbin stands when they play beechwood next week

You watched the title game last year and you didn’t think they were a top team in the state? Ummmm Ok. This is all academic and doesn’t matter in the slightest..... just know that Cov cath is really really good.

They were definetly A top team in the state.

They didn't scare me. I had not watched ONE SINGLE PLAY OF THEIRS LAST SEASON...and when I watched the game vs MadSouth on YouTube I was ready for this unbelievable force and was left thinking "is that it?"

Not that impressed. I know they had to replace their best player in their QB (who was great) and i can't believe they're the best team in KY. No way.

Gotcha. To each their own. I’m just saying they have quite a few d1 guys and a phenomenal coaching staff. Regardless, they need to worry about beechwood this week. Nothing else really matters.

Much respect.

CovCath isn't the only team with "a few D1 guys" but they have played a great schedule and have handled business.

Kudos! No ill will.

I'd have to put Male at the top of the heap right now, but, Cov Cath and Scott Co could both stake a claim to the #1 ranking. Plus, I know Trinity is 0-4, but, they're still as deep and talented as any team in the state and could beat anyone on any given day.

JC has had quite a few starters out at very important positions. C,ILB, S, RB, WR. Had to play a lot of young kids. Their starting to get healthy now so I think we’ll see the true JC team in the next few weeks.

JC is a force no doubt, even without their starters. But trying to be as fair as possible, I don’t think they’ve earned the spot over corbin and a couple others. But my opinion isn’t always right. We will be without our best WR for the next month or so, so it’ll be interesting to see how we fair without him.

Lex Cath gets tested this week. If they lose to HIghlands then they should drop
#29
Is CAL better than Belfry and Bowling Green? I would have both those teams ahead of them.
#30
Trinity should be no lower than 4. Besides the top 3 no one would compete with them at all.
