Beechwood @ Corbin 9/7
Hound05 Wrote:But let’s say for the sake of argument that I agree with you. If you left corbin tonight with 20 penalties to 1. Would you say you got a fair shake? Especially given the timing of how they were thrown?

If beechwoods play warrants a flag....yes the officials should call the penalty. Nothing new here.
[quote=Hound05]Hahah yeaaaaaahhhhh. First off it’s not fact. It was 19 penalties. But I guess some dude hiding behind a computer screen posting something he “watched” is fact..... right. Who is the one trying to justify it to fit their narrative?? Hmmmm. I’m done arguing with you. I WAS there and we had one TD I remember 100% being called back. Pretty sure it was 2. #FACT. Seeeeeee yaaaaaaaa[/QUOTE

You can believe what you want, but there was not a TD called back in the game, FACT!!!
So you either dreamt that last night or you weren't actually at the game and heard some bad 2nd hand information.

Don't let the facts get in the way of your argument though.
Oh and btw even digital scout shows it as 100 yards to 5 yards hahaha. FACT.

You didn’t seem to let it.

Wow. Thanks for such and insightful post there John Madden.

I Hope to the football Gods there’s a huge difference in penalties just so I can hear the crying. Which Killbilly will probably have it skewed after he “watches” the tape hahaha
Go Beechwood!
Hound05 Wrote:Oh and btw even digital scout shows it as 100 yards to 5 yards hahaha. FACT.

Maybe digital scout can find your phantom TD that was called back.....I won't hold my breath waiting, because it didn't happen.
Good luck to the Hounds and their fans tonight and closet fans(PJDoug) have a good game hope injury free for both teams. Will be real interested in the results of this game
KentuckyHillBilly5321 Wrote:Again....I just watched the game and Corbin did not have any TDs called back.
That is a 100% fact, so don't try to fabricate some story to fit your narrative that Corbin was screwed by the refs.

The penalty total in that game was 13 for Corbin and 4 for Beechwood.

Almost half of Corbin's penalties were false starts. Another was a blatant personal foul where the Corbin player ripped a Beechwood kids helmet off and threw it after an interception, and that player was not ejected from the game.

These are facts from the game, not some hearsay BS that somebody heard from somebody's dad at the local barbershop.
13 to 4? You watched the wrong game or something.
HOFER Wrote:13 to 4? You watched the wrong game or something.

If Corbin had 20 penalties....like you guys claim, and they went for a total of 100 yards, then basic math would say that every one of those penalties was only a 5 yard penalty. We know that isn't true, because they had 1 personal foul, one pass interference, and a couple holding calls. There is no way if they truly had 20 penalties that it was only for 100 yards, as somebody's digital scout claims.
Corbin is on another level. I think there are three teams in 3A who can play with just about anyone in the entire state, outside of a few 6A teams. That is Corbin, Boyle Co, and Central. It'll be interesting to see how the playoffs shake out, but it's going to be a great two weeks to end the season.

Just went back if I added it up right we had 19 penalties for 124 yards. Yardage may have been of, you don’t know how many of the penalties was declined. I am going back to see if there was one that was a td called back, but either way penalties kill drives and momentum. I do know there was several on completed first downs that backed us up for third and long just by looking at the yardage’s on stat screen.

So you didn't really just watch the game like you claim right?
Guys, we just got beat last year. Sure the penalties called were lopsided and it looks bad, maybe we just had one of those nights where we committed too many silly penalties for whatever reason(lack of concentration, frustration, worried about their girlfriend, etc.. Corbin needs to clean it up because they have already had several big plays negated by costly penalties this year.
HOFER Wrote:So you didn't really just watch the game like you claim right?

Just watched the entire thing again.
Corbin had 13 penalties.
2 holds
3 personal fouls
1 pass interference
2 offsides on the D
4 false starts on O
1 other 5 yard penalty that you can't tell what they called it for from the film.

And without a doubt there were no touchdowns called back in the game. The biggest gain that was called back was around a 15 yard gain.
Calm down a little children.

Save some passion for the game tonight. It's gonna be a good 'un!!!!!

You just watched the entire game in 13 minutes, :biglmao: next you will tell us its Friday 13th, anyway have a safe trip down south, Corbin has some unfinished Business to take care of. Confusedmoke:

Corbin 42
Beechwood 21

My thoughts as well. I was there. I know how it was, I don’t have to go back and watch. I’m done arguing with them. But it’s hard to negate the fact that it was over 100 yards to 5 and it “didn’t” effect the outcome hahah. We’re some of them deserved? Absolutely. We’re all of them? MOST DEF. NOT! But I’m done. We shall see tonight. I hope we “return” the favor hahaha

I hope you’re right!!! Tell Sur to CHARGE HIS DANG PHONE!! Haha
Johnson Central's starters out scored Beechwood's starters 28-7 I believe, fact check me on that please and that was in one half. If that is the case, I cannot believe Corbin is far behind Johnson Central talent wise, if at all. Plus, isn't this game in Corbin? That's a long drive for Beechwood... I'll take the Hounds by at least three touchdowns, maybe more. 42-14 Corbin.
What’s the best place to park down Corbin I seem to always have trouble parking and what time I should I get there to avoid having trouble

Yeah, it's called Hudl. You can watch through a game pretty quick.
If you want good parking and to avoid trouble finding a decent spot, you should already be there!! I may just drive by and watch til I'm shooed away, then circle the block again.

64SUR...CHARGE YOUR DANG PHONE!!!!!
Gut will be in attendance for this one
Corbin Wrote:I noticed on another site that the owner of it has started a thread already asking if Beechwood will get a fair shake by the officials. That comes off to me as petty and classless. If anyone else started a thread like that there with their over sensitive and ridiculous rules, it would get deleted.

That's because everyone in the surrounding area knows who will be the refs for this game. Fair question.

Even if there is a huge discrepancy in favor of Corbin....it might not be enough. Just saying. Beechwood is exceptionally coached and they have a really good team. I hope for Corbin’s sake, they win tonight’s game so they can continue their unprecedented confidence since 1982. Let’s be real, if Corbin is for real as you are suggesting...a 1a beechwood team shouldn’t stand a chance. Good luck tonight to the hounds. It’s obviously a must win for many egos posting in this thread.
Is the game going to be streamed live anywhere online? If not what radio station will it be on? Thanks in advance.

Who will it be then?

Hahah a lot of assumptions on your part. No game is must win until the district starts. Classes mean nothing when it comes to elite programs. Just saying
