Beechwood @ Corbin 9/7
#31
IMO, Beechwood looks very good, with a great defense. Corbin should still have a very good to great defense as well. I got Beechwood overcoming the homefield advantage and winning by an XP.

It could very well happen.

Hounds by 7. Ashhurst has Don White on his crew now.

I think Beechwood proves they would be a title contender in at least 3 classes, maybe 4. 21-20 Tigers in a slugfest

Game could go either way. There's probably only 3, 3A teams that can play with Beecwood, Corbin, Boyle, and Central. Maybe Belfry, I'm just not sure about Belfry's team this year.

Corbin 42
Beechwood 21

Beechwood in a close one. Either way, i don’t think either team gets more than 10 ahead.

Hands down this will be the best game in KY this week. A lot of folks are picking Beechwood on here and other sites. I believe Corbin is better than last year with Estep at QB. I’m picking Corbin in a close one. My gang will be traveling over to watch a great game between two great programs.

I picked Beechwood just for the sake of picking a winner. Honestly I feel like it’s a coin toss

bigcat95 was you at the beechwood and Corbin game last year at beechwood 20-2 flags in favor of beechwood :ref1::ref1::ref1: I will post my prediction again just in case you overlook it. Confusedmoke:

I take it you've never saw home field advantage at Corbin? Lol. I guarantee you that I can name at least 4 of the refs already. Find a Alcoa fan and see how they feel. I say Corbin by 17.

Not mention that 2 or 3 of the penalties were behind the play on touchdowns...... hahaha🤦🏼*♂️🤦🏼*♂️

I hope Corbin wins. I don't have anything against Beechwood, but I want my Class to win.

I think Corbin should win but I think it’s going to be a close game.

I’m curious if Beechwood was playing Boyle this week would it be a close game.

I saw a good team play both Beechwood and Corbin. Beechwood wins with a running clock by 3 quarters.
#54
I think the Red Hounds take it.

55 I have always shot you straight and I will say this, we are 3 scores better on offense and I score(stop) better on defense. We have got to clean up some of our extra energy behind the play though. We had three runs called back of 70 or more yards against Pulaski, and a couple against Danville. This is not a arrogant comment or anything like that but this is a special group combined with great coaches. Crazy thing is we still have a couple pieces that are just getting going on offense that could make it even harder to defend. No matter what every team will be better by playoffs, we have stuff to clean up and got to dodge the injury bug to get there.

What opponent, and care to wager? You must be talking about seeing us in scrimmage and them in game form, not the best logic but I will take it if you wanna.

Boss daddy I was about to get on that one and I am not from Corbin but that was 1 stupid remark, probably one of those forte nite guys or someone trying to get something started

You must not be that big of a foozeball fanatic if you’re being serious. NO ONE, let me say it again, NO ONE, that we will play this year will put a running clock on us, or even close. The only team you could have seen bothnplay was somerset. And we scrimmaged them. I don’t know if you know how scrimmages work, but coaches aren’t giving anything away during them. So that’s not a great argument to make on your side. But hey, everyone is welcome to their opinion i guess.

Can’t get anything out of a scrimmage result wise. Coaches don’t tip their hand and are trying things out
