I don’t know about a running clock for the simple reason that Boyle’s offense is not clicking without Tanner Crawford in the backfield I know the O-line is a work in progress but the running game is not going to be up to par until Crawford returns, with that being said I think Boyle still wins comfortably.

Boyle beat Wayne last year 38-14 (wasn't that close) and they lost their QB to graduation. Although they are a tough team I'm not sure they have the personnel to keep this a close game. Running clock?!?! I guess we'll find out.

Boyle 35
Wayne 14
Wayne is still very very physical, but Boyle is just the fastest team under 6A in the state. THey might be the fastest team in the state. O-Line issues, or not, if they can pass-set for 3 seconds+, their receivers will get open. My score is just betting that Wayne is super "up" for the game and plays about as well as they possibly can. Last year Wayne was a bit better than the score proved. They had a terrible first half. Boyle was going to win regardless. The QB for Boyle is a class act, and so is the Bartleson kid.

Might be back this Friday...I wouldn't expect him to make an impact however. At this point (could change eventually) he isn't our best option at RB imo. He hasn't played in a while and isn't in game shape. Could be weeks before he is REALLY ready.

BOTH young men you speak of are INCREDIBLE young men! Class is something they have been taught by their parents and that is true. Last game running game wasn't there much really, but the pass was and I would take our QB all day everyday. Not gonna predict a score but I will predict a win for Boyle. Boys don't know how to lose and play for each other.

That's why I dont bet. You never know. But 9 out of 10 times this is a running clock. But theres always that one time.

Boyle will win by 21+. Wayne County is a tough, well coached team. But letâs be honest, Boyle will win by 3 or more TDS.

Agreed. Bartleson's dad played adult flag football down here in our league. Great player himself.

Boyle 42 Wayne co 24

Wayneâs front defensive 7 is pretty good. If they play the way they are capable, this game could be interesting.
Coach T will have the Cards super hyped. I see this as the opposite of last yearâs game. Wayne went in last year looking to 4A title games in week 3, played poorly, and got humbled by an up and coming Boyle.
Boyle is the definite favorite, but we play the games for a reason

If Wayne Co scores 24 points the defense may have to walk back to Danville.

From what I saw last year Wayne doesn't have the athletes to handle Boyle. Being tough is great but if you can't run with the other team you're in trouble.

I agree Boyleâs athleticism > Wayneâs, but it happens every week at all levels of football somebody is better and still loses.
