Anderson has beaten N. Laurel, Bell Co., and Bourbon in scrimmages and belated GRC and Meade with no problem. They did lose one of their best players to injury Friday night however and they are a very thin team. I thought they would play Cov. Cath. In the playoffs and lose by 3 tds late but have a close first half.
Mercer was suppose to have a down year after losing WR Trayvon and QB Gillis. They lost some good linemen as well. They looked bad in their scrimmage but good against John Hardin. I was excited for them till I saw how bad John Hardin looked Friday night.
If it was a normal game on a neutral site I would say 42-0 Anderson. However:
1) Anderson lost Zach Labhart, one of their big 5 they couldnt afford to lose to injury Friday night
2) Titans have had 2 weeks to prepare for Anderson as they had a bye Friday night
3) Game is at Mercer and is a rivalry game
Anybody have any thoughts?
I say Anderson still wins 27-14
