St. Xavier is going for their 8th state baseball championship & their 3rd (2014 & 2016) in the past five seasons.
Highlands is going for their 1st ever state baseball championship.

This is St. Xavier's 5th team state championship in the '17/'18 school year.

The format for baseball is the worst Iâve ever seen. There is a no âlogicalâ reason for having private schools and public schools playing for the same title. First off, and the most obvious reason, is that public schools and private schools operate on different rules for recruiting. Private schools can openly recruit anyone. What parent wouldnât take a scholarship to a private school where they would have an 8:1 teacher
