For someone who doesn't spend much time thinking about Greenup County you spend a lot of time commenting on their thread.

Well at least you didn't claim he was a friend because then we would know you were not being truthful.

Greenup is going to be really solid this season with the return of a great QB in Sammons along with players like Halstead, Kelly, and Thomas. I don't know anything about their line situation. If it is strong, then the Musketeers could pull off some upsets this season. Raceland, Johnson Central, and Ashland are the only potential losses I see on the schedule.

I hope the Muskaturds win all their games but one....good luck guys !!!

Greenup wins 7 on 7 Saturday beating Raceland in the final.

Who all was there Saturday morning? I watched the games on Friday when Fleming County won. I was impressed with both Greenup and Raceland.

Big for Greenup is Zack Moore coming onto the staff. Best Xs and Os guy in the area.

Greenup looked good Saturday at the 7on7. I wasnât there Friday so I canât comment on how they looked then. Itâs great to see Greenup hosting events like the 7on7, that is something that previous coaches have never done here is actually take the time to raise money and bring events on campus.
Greenup also hired 2 new assistant coaches one is a former D1 defensive backs coach and the other is the former offensive line coach for a 4A power and has been to the state finals 3 times. Adding those two to the current staff gives Greenup a loaded coaching staff. They could arguably have the best coaching staff in the area now.

Does anyone know what other teams were there Saturday?

Do you mean Zack Moore as the former D1 DBs coach or someone else in addition? Because Moore was also the defensive coordinator at Morehead State.

There is another coach on board along with Coach Moore

Not many there Saturday Greenup looked good rams did as well Fleming surprised me and the burg was without there two top players it was a great conditioning thing but that is all 7on7 boil down to
07-16-2018, 04:03 AM
Greenup had two teams, Raceland had two, Lewis had one and Rowan appreared to have had three
07-16-2018, 02:15 PM
There were two tournaments going on with the younger groups playing each other with the 2 Greenup teams ending up in the championship game. Raceland had 2 teams, Greenup 2, Rowan 1 and Lewis 1.

I was impressed with the offense as a whole. Teams came in knowing thomas and kelly were play makers, but with sure handed tucker and evans at the other 2 wrs, it is a pick you poison situation. Add halstead to that mix out of the backfield and Mr Sammons has alot of weapons to chose from this season.
